Money Can Not Just Grow Wings and Fly Away Papapapa, Team of Bloggers and Activists Tell Maracha District Health Officials.
In an operation dabbed "Cleansing Corruption in WestNile" , a team led by Bloggers and Activists, Kawawa Michael, Osuta Yusuf, Ayiko, Ben Drapari, Vuku Issa, Hashim Muzamil, Ayikobu, Edema and others have tasked Dr Alphonse working with Maracha Hospital, Hon Bako Judith former Councillor / secretary for social services in Maracha, Hon Adiga Lawrence former LC5 Maracha and other officials working in St Joseph's Hospital Maracha to explain how over 50m shs fundraised through a charity drive in 2018 aimed at taking care of prematurely born babies in the District vanished in a thin air without tangible results on the ground.
With a well designed architect on a banner for the project, many well wishers including Business people, MPs, Youths and different categories of people in WestNile region donated monies, ironsheets, nails and much more essential materials that would aid to speed up the project but it beats the understanding of a sensible person on how horrible and where those materials have disappeared without an independent accountability to date.
Mr Kawawa Michael said, Hon Bako forced him to buy 10 T-shirts to support the charity run.
Engineer Joel Aita a consultant and business mogul in WestNile Region who was the Chief Runner of the fundraising drive has asked the mobilizers to refund his 10m shs which he gave if the monies are being mishandled.
The concerned Bloggers / Activists are keenly investigating corruption scandals and will keep WestNile and Uganda informed on the progress.
