The Agony of Life, Episode Three; #Power.

Our first episode on The Agony of Life was about "Sickness" , the second episode was about "Marriage" and here comes the third episode which is about "Power".

From past decades to present to future, many people around the world seek for power on daily basis.

When it comes to power, it either means a Position in Government institutions (May be in position of Engineer, Journalist, Doctor, President, Lawyer, MP, Soldier, Minister, Judge, Police, etc) or Money power (Business class).

Different types of people tend to acquire these powers for two major reasons;

1. To use it, in helping to deliver development and services for their people, in most times they will always make sure their people (tribemates or citizens) do not suffer or lack anything.

2. The Abuse of power!

This section uses the acquired power to protect themselves, serve their interests henceforth meting repression against those they view as threats to their power or well being.

The more we continue to have faces of illiterates wielding power in Arua or WestNile region or Uganda or Africa, the more strange cases of abuse of power will persistently roar.

Like the proverb says, Corrupt power corrupts absolutely, in many instances when oppressors wield "Money Power", they try as much as possible to corrupt the brains of those in power in Government offices by bribing to favor them in their heinous acts in the public.

What such people always forgot is that, the "Powers" they misuse by grabbing people's properties, arresting innocent people on false charges, depriving widows/ orphans will oftentimes end up consuming them.

Sufferings of the innocent and powerless are a curse to those with power.

It's therefore so important to carefully use the Powers you have or you intend to have, by being mindful of Humanity.

Power (Money or Position in Government) shouldn’t destroy your conscience.

Otherwise, in the downfall days of those who misuse and abuse power, they will need Human Beings to help them in one way or the other but unfortunately if they have been "Dehumanizing" people, it becomes a nutshell.
