KIRYANDONGO- A Mercedes SINO trailer registration number UAT 113F on Tuesday 20-6-2023 afternoon overturned at Karuma bridge drowning instantly. According to eye witnesses, the trailer coming from Elegu was over speeding a distance close to the bridge before the driver lost control and rammed into the high speed waterfalls. There is no any trace of a trailer that can be seen at the scene, however bottles of beer are seen broken and scattered all over the point of the ram. It is suspected that the over speeding driver was drunk leading to loss of accident. Eye witnesses say that the trailer had 3 passengers (2 males including the driver and one female).
