Imran Khan hit back at Western envoys who urged his country to join condemnation against Russia over Ukraine. Khan questioned whether the EU thought of Pakistanis as their “slaves.”
A joint letter from diplomatic missions at the start of the month urged the Islamic Republic to publicly come out against Moscow.

It comes as Pakistan looks to import wheat and gas from Russia, after Prime Minister Khan visited Vladimir Putin in late February.
