THE GENESIS OF TURNING UGANDA PARLIAMENT OBSOLETE. Dear fellow Countrymen, Countrywomen, Africans and the Whole World, i am here encapsulating on a Noble Syndrome that needs the attention and active intervention of Everyone regardless of Religion, Skin Colour, Where you are, Tribe and so on. The First Grave mistake Our Uganda Parliamentarians made, was when they Accepted a Bribe of Ugandan Shillings Five Million each, to remove "TERM LIMITS" off the Mother Law of Uganda (1995 Constitution), leaving Uganda driving on a HandBrake. The Seventh Parliament MPs did this in 2005, paving a clear way for Rebel-Leader Turned a President, to become freakingly using Rubber Stamp Parliament for Dirty Missions and Laws. Along the sewage line too, was an unapproved send off of Ugandan Soldiers to go fight in War Ravaged Countries. We only saw Body of Our Brothers and Sisters being returned Home, in a Casket and i pray God to bless and protect those who are still in those War Zone Countries. The Freedom and Struggle which Mr Museveni claims to have stabilised Uganda, has instead Overturned some of Our MPs, Diplomats, High Rank Soldiers / Police and Ministers into White-Collar Thieves. As most of Our MPs have turned to play "Tit for Tat" methods With the Executive, over Poorly Oppressed Citizens, look what some Crooked MPs have done so far: On 13 April 2012, The Constitutional Court threw out, BUKONZO East MP Yokasi Bihande and was requested to refund all the Monies he has been Receiving, including Shs 10 Million Constituency Development Fund. The constitutional court has ordered the MP Bukonzo East Constituency Yokasi Bihande Bwambale to vacate the parliament premises with immediate effect. Bihande was convicted in 2012 on charges of embezzlement of shs20m and forging accountability for the said money. But since then (2012), the Chap defied Court Order. And On 29 Sept 2015, Court threw out BUKOTO MP Bwambale & he was ordered to refund all the Money he has been Receiving, but has since rejected to comply. Another One is, Junior State Minister for Water, Ronald Kibule, Who punched unconscious, a Female Security Guard at Centenary Bank, for requesting to check him (Ronald Kibule) before entering Centenary Bank, Contrary to What Kibule claimed to have Punched the female Security Guard for Abusing him. Social Media and Traditional Medias were awash with the Nova, sealing off both the Minister and Government in to a Panic mode. Since Eye Witnesses were somehow not much Considered, Concerning the Gravity of the matter, We were eagerly waiting for the CCTV video footage so as the Female Security Guard could get Justice, only to be surprised by Centenary Bank Management, with a Doctored CCTV Video footage after 4 Solid days of Hope. Only God Knows How far has Human Rights Organizations, Government, Court and Police have reached with the Investigations and Prosecutions of this Bully Buffon Kibule. Again on September 2016, When they were Investigating some of the People who have Grabbed part of UBC Land, Woman MP Margaret Muhanga was cited to be One of the Land Grabbers. When Questioned on the Source of her for Buying the Land, Margaret Muhanga, who is also a Sister to Andrew Mwenda, shocked the WORLD when, She claimed to have sold her Goats to raise Shs 10 billion to buy part of UBC Land. Commissioner of Inquiry, the Land Board, IGG and many other respective Investigation Agencies have turned mute on this Matter. Many People are still Laughing and Wondering, How would a Person Sold Mere Goats to raise Shs 10 billion?. How much is an Average Price of a Goat in Uganda?. Which is about Shs 155000 (50$). How many years does one think, Margaret Muhanga spent in Grazing her Goats?. Assume. How many Goats were in her Farm, by the Time he was about to Sale them?. Assume. How may Goats did her Sale?. If you don't want to pay Tax, you just die, He was Broadcasted saying this. The last "Tit for Tat" Trick between Ugandan MPs (Legislature) and Mr Museveni (Executive) drenched in to a deep Lake, when Mr Museveni Deceived the MPs to remove the "Age Limit" cap off the Constitution and at the same time, he will reward them by adding 2 plus more years on to their Parliamentary Terms, making it to 5 years + 2years = 7 years (which is One Term), and it was eventually overturned by Court (Judiciary) making it as the last Bribery, Tit for Tat, Threatening and Conning Ploy between these Two Institutions (Executive & Legislature), which were Once greatly Respectful Adore and Recognized and now turned in to a Mockery, Laughing stock and an Arena for Political Lappers and Prostitutes. VPN FILTER ROUTER MALWARE ADDS 7 NEW NEW NETWORK EXPLOITATION MODULES. Automated Publishing Via Osuta Yusuf Robot. Security researchers have discovered even more dangerous capabilities in VPNFilter —the highly sophisticated multi-stage malware that infected 500,000 routers worldwide in May this year, making it much more widespread and sophisticated than earlier. Attributed to Russia's APT 28, also known as 'Fancy Bear,' VPNFilter is a malware platform designed to infect routers and network-attached storage devices from 75 brands including Linksys, MikroTik, Netgear, TP-Link, QNAP, ASUS, D-Link, Huawei, ZTE, Ubiquiti, and UPVEL. In May, when VPNFilter infected half a million routers and NAS devices in 54 countries, the FBI seized a key command-and-control domain used by the malware and asked people to reboot their routers. Initially, it was found that VPNFilter had been built with multiple attack modules that could be deployed to the infected routers to steal website credentials and monitor industrial controls or SCADA systems, such as those used in electric grids, other infrastructure and factories. However, in a new report published by Cisco's Talos Intelligence security team, researchers said they delved into recent VPNFilter samples and found seven new "third-stage" modules that can even exploit the networks infected routers were attached to, eventually allowing attackers to steal data and create a covert network for their command and control server for future attacks. What is VPNFilter Router Malware? Before going into the details of seven new third-stage modules, let’s first know the infrastructure of this multi-stage VPNFilter malware. Unlike most other malware that targets routers, the first stage of the VPNFilter malware was designed to persist through a reboot, gaining a persistent foothold on the infected device and enabling the deployment of the second stage malware. The second stage module of VPNFilter was not persistent, which was designed to download additional modules onto the infected routers. This module also contains a killswitch, where the malware deliberately kills itself, rendering the infected router useless. The third stage of VPNFilter is comprised of modules designed to expand the capabilities of the second stage, like packet sniffer, communication over Tor anonymizing network, and exploit delivery to compromised devices via JavaScript injection. List of Newly Discovered VPNFilter Modules Now, here's the list of seven new third stage modules recently uncovered by Talos researchers that add significant new functionality to the VPNFilter malware: htpx — This module redirects and inspects HTTP communications with an aim to identify the presence of Windows executables in the network traffic. Researchers believe, with moderate confidence, that this module could be leveraged by attackers to inject malicious code into binary files on-the-fly as they pass through compromised devices. ndbr — This module is a multifunctional secure shell (SSH) utility that allows a remote attacker to turn compromised device into an SSH server, an SSH client, or an NMAP port scanner. Using SCP protocol, the ndbr utility can also allow transfer of files. nm — This is a network mapping module that can be used to perform reconnaissance from the compromised devices. Besides this, it also uses the MikroTik Network Discovery Protocol (MNDP) to locate any other MikroTik devices on the local network. netfilter — This module is a denial-of-service utility that allows an attacker to set IPtables rule into firewall and block sets of network addresses. portforwarding — This module forwards network traffic to a specified infrastructure, allowing attackers to intercept network connections. socks5proxy — This module sets up a SOCKS5 proxy on the compromised device, allowing attackers to build a distributed network of proxies that could be leveraged in future attacks. It uses no authentication and is hardcoded to listen on TCP port 5380. tcpvpn — This module sets up a Reverse-TCP VPN on the compromised device, allowing remote attackers to access internal networks behind infected devices. Besides these 7 new modules, Talos also discovered that the attackers are using MikroTik administration utility called Winbox—a small native Win32 utility that allows administrators to easily set up their routers using a Web-based interface—to infect MikroTik Routers. Talos researchers released "Winbox Protocol Dissector" plugin on GitHub to let network engineers detect and analyze Winbox traffic, captured using Wireshark like tools, and monitor use of the exploited Mikrotik protocol. Since users can get rid of the second stage attack by rebooting their routers, the first stage still remains behind, making it possible for attackers to re-establish connections to the rebooted device and reinstall the second stage of VPNFilter remotely. Thankfully, researchers believe that VPNFilter has been fully neutralized but, it's hard to know the future intentions of threat actors who created this sophisticated multi-stage, all-in-one malware package. Initially, Talos researchers had high confidence that the Russian government was behind VPNFilter as the malware code overlaps with versions of BlackEneegy—malware responsible for multiple large-scale attacks on Ukraine that the U.S., but the recent report does not talk about such claims.

The United States has reiterated a call for Cameroon to fish out and prosecute soldiers complicit in extrajudicial killings in the country’s Far North region. A Voice of America report on Friday said the Pentagon had confirmed demanding accountability from Cameroon over the gruesome killings. “The Cameroonian government has taken recent steps to increase transparency and address allegations of gross violations of human rights seriously, but the government has not yet released information specific to its investigations,” Pentagon spokeswoman Air Force Maj. Sheryll Klinkel told the VOA in an email. Klinkel also confirmed that the US military was working with the State Department to “ensure the government of Cameroon holds accountable any individuals found to be responsible.” The State Department had previously called on Yaounde to act. The BBC Africa Eye’s in a recent investigative piece dissected the killing specifically of two women and their babies by police believed to have been deployed in the fight against Boko Haram. The piece employed technology – satellite imagery, available news footage and matched it with the video of the shooting that drew widespread condemnation when it surfaced on social media. The government initially rejected it before later announcing the arrest of soldiers in connection with the footage. The BBCwork tracked when it possibly happened – dating as far back as 2015 and two of the soldiers involved. The other gruesome killing was also shot in the same region and involved soldiers opening fire on a dozen young men who were lying prostrate. Cameroon is currently facing a security crisis in its English-speaking regions where armed separatists are fighting government forces. The situation has led to people fleeing the regions whiles others cross the border into Nigeria. State actors and separatists have been accused of killing, injuring and threatening citizens. The region is seen as a major flash point as voters elect a new president on October 7, 2018.

At this moment i am writing a preview and the aftermath of Mr Museveni eagerly being behind pushing for an Ambiguity Law Aimed at Taxing Internet Users in Uganda Per day 200/- each ( about 0.10$) which was eventually passed into a Law, resulting in to Shutting down Internet for everyone in Uganda unless the Person pays the Social Media Tax. The other main motives of dictator Museveni were basically on Framing Opposition Activists who are awash, controversial, unruly and whom Museveni claimed, are generally using Internet to Critique and Write Bad things on the Internet about the Government. When the bills (Mobile Money Tax & OTT tax) were tabled before Parliament, many people were uninformed, thus, didn't pay much attentions. The Law affected too many, People, Group of People, Society, Company and Some Organizations as well!. According to a recent survey done, the Number of Internet users in Uganda reduced to 83% (after enforcing the Law) from 93% (before enforcing the Law). Meaning, just about 10% People are affected by the new Tax, inclusive of those who used to do their Businesses and Projects freely on the Internet. With the effectiveness of the Law, due 1 July 2018, it rose to the dismay of many but was jubilant to muzukulu ruling camp, little did they know, that was some Triple steps towards a Coupé. Double Price Ugandans pay, is Triple Times Costly and Ardent Risk to Musevenism long hold on power. It is Risky to the Rulership of Junta Sectarianism Regime. Considering the Number of people blocked by the Tax from using Internet Compared to the Number of People who have managed to dodge the Tax Vastly (10% : 83%), Muzukulu has shot himself on the foot. There are about 20 million Internet users in Uganda and they were expecting to bag Shs 200 × 20000000 = 400000000000 Ugandan Shillings monthly. What an Ouch!!! Their Thirst to raise some little more money to be stolen by the Family Members, In-laws, Friends, Relatives and Close Associates has faced its futility. Many Resorted to Using Virtual Private Networks (VPN) but there were immediate cowardly fear instilling with the Police Threatening to Arrest VPN users, later on the Joint Malwa Group Uganda Communication Commission emerged with its usual incompetence Enzo, that, they are gonna block VPNs too and we were wondering if the Ignorance dominated UCC thinks, blocking VPN is like Switching a Water Tap or an Electricity Switch. VPNs consume too much DATA, was Another Propaganda which deemed to be Helpful to the Poor but was a Diversionary trick for the illiterate. Google Hacker Discloses New Linux Kernel Vulnerability and PoC Exploit. Automated Publishing Via Osuta Yusuf Robot. A cybersecurity researcher with Google Project Zero has released the details, and a proof-of-concept (PoC) exploit for a high severity vulnerability that exists in Linux kernel since kernel version 3.16 through 4.18.8. Discovered by white hat hacker Jann Horn, the kernel vulnerability (CVE-2018-17182) is a cache invalidation bug in the Linux memory management subsystem that leads to use-after-free vulnerability, which if exploited, could allow an attacker to gain root privileges on the targeted system. The use-after-free (UAF) vulnerabilities are a class of memory corruption bug that can be exploited by unprivileged users to corrupt or alter data in memory, enabling them to cause a denial of service (system crash) or escalate privileges to gain administrative access on a system. Linux Kernel Exploit Takes an Hour to Gain Root Access However, Horn says his PoC Linux Kernel Exploit made available to the public "takes about an hour to run before popping a root shell." Horn responsibly reported the vulnerability to Linux kernel maintainers on September 12, and the Linux team fixed the issue in his upstream kernel tree within just two days, which Horn said was "exceptionally fast, compared to the fix times of other software vendors." The Linux kernel vulnerability was disclosed on the oss-security mailing list on September 18 and was patched in the upstream-supported stable kernel versions 4.18.9, 4.14.71, 4.9.128, and 4.4.157 on the next day. There's also a fix in release 3.16.58. Debian and Ubuntu Linux Left its Users Vulnerable for Over a Week "However, a fix being in the upstream kernel does not automatically mean that users' systems are actually patched," Horn noted. The researcher was disappointed knowing that some major Linux distributions, including Debian and Ubuntu, left their users exposed to potential attacks by not releasing kernel updates more than a week after the vulnerability was made public. As of Wednesday, both Debian stable and Ubuntu releases 16.04 and 18.04 had not patched the vulnerability. However, the Fedora project already rolled out a Security Patch to its users on 22 September. "Debian stable ships a kernel based on 4.9, but as of 2018-09-26, this kernel was last updated 2018-08-21. Similarly, Ubuntu 16.04 ships a kernel that was last updated 2018-08-27," Horn noted. "Android only ships security updates once a month. Therefore, when a security-critical fix is available in an upstream stable kernel, it can still take weeks before the fix is actually available to users—especially if the security impact is not announced publicly." In response to the Horn's blog post, the maintainers of Ubuntu says the company would possibly release the patches for the Linux kernel flaw around October 1, 2018. Horn said that once the patch is deployed in the upstream kernel, the vulnerability and patch becomes public, which, in this case, could allow malicious actors to develop a Linux kernel exploit to target users.

For instance, one Scan4you customer used the service to test malware that was subsequently used to steal approximately 40 million credit and debit card numbers, and other personal information from a US retail store, causing $292 million in losses. Another customer used Scan4you to assist the development of "Citadel"—a widely used malware strain that infected over 11 million computers worldwide, including in the United States and resulted in over $500 million in fraud-related losses. "Ruslans Bondars helped malware developers attack American businesses," said Assistant Attorney General Benczkowski. "The Department of Justice and its law enforcement partners make no distinction between service providers like Scan4You and the hackers they assist: we will hold them accountable for all of the significant harm they cause and work tirelessly to bring them to justice, wherever they may be located." Magecart hacking groupmanaged to infiltrate the Newegg website and steal the credit card details of all customers who entered their payment card information between August 14 and September 18, 2018, according to a joint analysis from Volexity and RiskIQ. Magecart hackers used what researchers called a digital credit card skimmer wherein they inserted a few lines of malicious Javascript code into the checkout page of Newegg website that captured payment information of customers making purchasing on the site and then send it to a remote server. Active since at least 2015, the Magecart hacking group registered a domain called neweggstats(dot)com on August 13, similar to Newegg's legitimate domain newegg.com, and acquired an SSL certificate issued for the domain by Comodo for their website. A day later, the group inserted the skimmer code into the Newegg website at the payment processing page, so that it would not come into play until or unless the payment page was hit. So, when customers add a product in their shopping cart, enter their delivery information during the first step of the check-out, and validate their address, the website takes them to the payment processing page to enter their credit card information. As soon as the customer hit submit button after entering their credit card information, the skimmer code immediately sends a copy that data to the attacker's domain, i.e., neweggstats(dot)com without interrupting the checkout process. Newegg Hack May Affect Millions of Customers The attack affected both desktop and mobile customers, though it is still unclear how many customers were actually hit by this credit card breach. However, considering that more than 50 million shoppers visit Newegg every month and that the malicious code was there for over one month, it could be assumed that this Magecart newest card skimming campaign has possibly stolen the payment information on millions of Newegg customers, even if only a fraction of those visitors make purchases. Earlier this month, the Magecart hacking group breached the British Airways website and its mobile application and managed to walk away with a bounty of sensitive payment card data from 380,000 victims. "The skimmer code [used in the Newegg breach] is recognizable from the British Airways incident, with the same basecode," RiskIQ researchers said. "All the attackers changed is the name of the form it needs to serialize to obtain payment information and the server to send it to, this time themed with Newegg instead of British Airways." In the Newegg case, the hackers used smaller skimmer code of "a tidy 15 lines of script," since it only had to serialize one form. If you are one of those Newegg customers who entered their credit card details on the website during the attack period, you should immediately contact your bank, block your payment card, and request for a replacement. However, the way Magecart is scooping up payment card data from popular services with relatively little efforts suggests that Newegg probably will not be its last target.

For successful exploitation of the vulnerability, all an attacker or malware just needs to do is replace "ServiceManager.exe" file from the driver folder with a malicious file to trick the vulnerable driver into executing it with higher SYSTEM privileges after reboot. Malith also posted a video demonstration showing that how attackers can exploit this flaw to escalate their privileges on a Windows machine to gain a reverse shell. "An attacker can plant a reverse shell from a low privileged user account and by restarting the computer, the malicious service will be started as "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" by giving the attacker full system access to the remote PC," he explains in his blog. THE DIRE FATE OF OUR YOUTH GENERATION. Today Friday 14 September 2018, i am here to write and bring to the Concern of my Readers and the World, about the stake of Our Youths especially MARACHA District. I dreamt the whole Yesternight, about Our Youths. I OSUTA YUSUF WILL BE A TESTIMONY AND SACRIFICE IN THIS DRIPPING TYPICALITY. My Heart is Heavy and Teary as i am writing this. Generally, Our Tradition had a Bad believe towards Education, that manifested into some parents hating to send their children to school but little did they know the vast bravery of Education!. The trend later on changed after curiosity in sensitising the community though, but the exact dilemma facing us seems to persist. Our Youths, been having poor parents, could not complete some levels of education. A big chunk of them being deflected and at home, could not bear the gravity of lonely idleness at home, they opt for consuming and Trading in drugs (Opium, Marijuana / Marungi, Tobacco and Alcohol). Others who couldn't tolerate this life, decide to do Hired Labors (which we call it in LUGBARA, Leja Leja), for survival. Few years later on, they are married (at the Age of around 20). The family tree of being Impoverished, illiterate, uneducated and dying poor just continues. Hardly enough, a few individuals seem to care and pay little attention to starvation of Our Youths. I am Writing this because i stay with the Youths, i know their problems, i am popular among Them, they Respect me, Love me, listen to me and all the Youths call me CHIEF. There is a Proverb, that, A Mother can only best examine, study and Administer the best treatment for their Baby. WHO ARE TO BE BLAMED. There are Three players that ought to be blamed in this Hardship directly hitting the Poor Youths; 1. Government has to be blamed on grounds that, it has totally failed to foster an Aim on the Welfare of Youths, 2. Parents and 3. the Youths themselves have to be blamed too because you can not just sit and fold your hand then expect Government to bring you food on your dining table. MY OPINIONS have been partly holding Government responsible on the Grounds that, Government is the Actor and Referee. Some people are asking, why are we solely blaming government!. Well, here is my Reason; Sometimes you may try all your level best in your life but you just realise something is weighing you down. People are working hard but Government is weighing them down. It is like, you are in a Running Race, wanted to Finnish at top but a stone is being tied to you, just to weigh you. People are doing some bit of Economic activities but the marketing itself is poor. For Example, Government encouraged people to grow maize, it yielded and just recently, the prize of maize dropped to 200/- (which is about 0.10$) per kilogram. This Happened after Government Hoodwinked someone to invest both their little money and efforts. Things like maize cannot be preserved for a longer period of like 3yearz to 5years, until the stable price hits the market. Instead, we would say, Government advised people how to become poor and broke. After all these, should a Sane person not fault the Government?. I will be writing more about this, in my subsequent publicities. WHAT TO DO. Our Aim is slightly on looking at Foreign Help!, which is somehow good but there has often being a center to upbring attention, interest and help of a Foreigner. Our own, Mr ANGUALIA RICHARD has been appointed Ambassador to Foreign Countries, for more than 5 years but in all his Diplomatic missions, neither has he persuaded a single Foreign Investor to start a Noble Cause like Constructing a Factory, starting an NGO to help the Poor nor has their being a mere foundation laid on ground that would with time, be beneficial and employing Our Youths. He is the only beneficiary to his heydays of Ambassadorship, and wasteful to the Poor and vulnerable population. Coming here too, Our Own MP, Maracha elect, Hon OGUZU DENIS LEE promised to help and rescue the alarming atrocity facing Our Youths. I don't know how much and so far he has reached with lobbying for Our Youths. I am yet to return to him and this Topic and publish it detailed later on. After Our Government is not attentive to Our Problems, Our Elected and Appointed leaders seem to Care less, MY CONCERN is, We should unite, organise, cooperate and form a Forum to kick a lobby that will in Particular Aim at providing Youths stability. No one paid attention to their infighting! Instead, we called them "Grasshoppers that eat themselves in a Jug" and we encourage them to continue doing so. 3. Another one is, This Headline "Government to merge some Sectors and Return them to their Mother Ministries". In fact, We say this is another worst ploy the Sectarianism Government is making, thinking it might divert the attention of Citizens to them. 4. The Others are; Bailing of Kayihura, MTN Nyege Nyege Promotion the Medias Rumoured to be blocked Minister Simon Lokodo over allegations of promoting Homosexuality (LGBT or Gays) and many others.
