HEAVY STORM DEVASTATES, MARACHA DISTRICT STAKEHOLDERS CRY OUT FOR HELP.

: Azipi primary school block de-roofed by storm. Maracha district stakeholders have appealed for urgent relief intervention from Ministry of disaster and preparedness following wide range of devastation caused by trails of heavy Storm. The district recorded massive destruction to buildings following Sunday evening storm leaving several people homeless in the affected areas. Uganda Journalists Association (UJA) Dragged to Court Over Its Leadership Election.

The Uganda Journalists Association(UJA) has together with its top most leaders been dragged to the Civil Division of the High Court in Kampala over irregularities in the forthcoming elections. Abubaker Lubowa is one of the five disqualified candidates who have dragged UJA to court. Tomorrow, President Museveni will install a new Chancellor of Muni University at a colourful ceremony which will take place at the University Campus in Arua City. The new and second Chancellor of Muni University is a favourite son of the soil and distinguished Church of Uganda Archbishop Emeritus, His Grace Henry Luke Orombi. According to the programme for the installation of the second Chancellor of Muni University, the 1st Chancellor, Dr Eric Tiyo Adriko, another distinguished and favourite son of the soil, will address the Congregation and hand over office peacefully to his successor. The ceremony will take place against the backdrop of the tragic and untimely death of the 1st Vice Chancellor of Muni University, the eminent, illustrious and renowned scholar, Professor Christine Dranzoa who passed on at Mulago Ho

Is Your EV Charging Station Safe? New Security Vulnerabilities Uncovered.

Two new security weaknesses discovered in several electric vehicle (EV) charging systems could be exploited to remotely shut down charging stations and even expose them to data and energy theft. The findings, which come from Israel-based SaiFlow, once again demonstrate the potential risks facing the EV charging infrastructure. The issues have been identified in version 1.6J of the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) standard that uses WebSockets for communication between EV charging stations and the Charging Station Management System (CSMS) providers.
