An unnamed male BBC employee has been suspended following allegations a presenter paid a teenager for sexually explicit images. It followed reports on Friday from the mother of the alleged victim, saying her child was paid more than £35,000 for sexually explicit pictures. She claims her child used the money to fund an addiction to crack cocaine and blames the presenter for “destroying her child’s life”. It is claimed the alleged victim was just 17-years-old when the interactions started and is now 20. The mother of the anonymous accuser alleged the unnamed BBC presenter stripped to his underwear during a video call with her then teenage child. During the monitoring tour in Terego West Constituency, LC3 Chairperson for Leju town council Hon Nyakuci John Bosco decried the appalling state of Nyara bridge connecting Bileafe, Leju & Oriama Sub-county, which he attributed it to sand mining that resulted into diversion of water flow henceforth causing breakage of the bridge. Police at CPS Kampala have arrested the driver of a motor vehicle, registration number UAZ 515C  who made a deliberate attempt to run over a traffic officer on Kampala Road.  The incident was captured in a video circulating on social, wherein our officer was attempting to stop the vehicle, but instead of complying with the directives, the driver chose to endanger the life of the police officer. The driver, identified as Mukwaya Issac, attempted to deceive the authorities by pretending to be sick when brought in for interrogation. However, upon examination, it was determined that he was in normal health and had intentionally inserted the cannula into his hand.  Consequently, Mukwaya was arrested and is being detained at CPS Kampala. The officer, who narrowly escaped being struck by the vehicle, is Katon
