The People of Arua and Westnile Region Have Expressed Discomfort Over the Sacking of Mr Adomati Dickson from Deputy RCC Job.

A section of people comprising of some leaders from Westnile region have expressed their discomfort over the removal of Mr Adomati, whom many people believe he was fought by some few individuals who felt he should just not be the Deputy Resident City Commissioner for Arua City because of his strict policies and no nonsense man character.

Mr Adomati,  whom many people in WestNile call as "Diso" , was appointed in that position by President Museveni on July-2021.

Before he could serve for even a year in that chaotic City of Arua, a national reshuffle was done and it resulted into his sacking from that office.

Below here is the discomfort pleasure the people of Westnile Region have expressed through a WhatsApp group called "VOICE OF WESTNILE".

Dear Hon Minister @millybabalanda, whatever reason has led to the sacking of Arua Deputy RCC @DicksonAdomati or the elusive cartel played their role, just be reminded that, he was one of the friendly, easy to access RCCs / RDCs Arua has ever had after Hon Abiriga (RIP).

But whatever it's, NRM needs Adomati Dickson for redeeming its name in Arua city. The city for many years has been riddled with corruption allegations.

Which law do they use to do these transfers? Are they done just by the wish of the appointing authority or a law? If someone is reported to have wronged or errored, why are they just dropped but not disciplined? Do the RDCs have refreshers programmes while on job or u just do to ur best ability until the knife touches u anytime.

Who among the RDCs in Arua has given update on service delivery like Adomati has done?

He was already reaching the youth, women, responding to service issues in record quick time! What does the appointing authority want? Service delivery or theft of government funds?.

The cartel in Uganda popularly called as *Mafia* vividly pronounced by His Excellence Gilbert Bukenya is real. They run this country in the manner they want. The whole process of appointing a RDC/RCC has been hijacked. The Constitution clearly stipulates who is eligible for that position..someone of integrity, a senior citizen who is there to represent the President and propagate government programmes, monitoring etc....But where the mafia is, nothing useful can come out of this Country. For instance the current appointments of deputy RCCs in Arua is a totally fallacy where political failures are given positions when we know their capacity of misrepresentation. And maybe the President wants to be represented by liers...over to him.

When 20,000 locals from Yumbe  petitioned office of the president on 25th Nov, 2020 , who considered it? They were riding on impunity ! Here in westnile who didn't value my work style ,commitment and resilience to fight corruption, monitoring of government programs ! and stoppage of depletion of Mt. Kei forest reserve among others?

Nevertheless, from my experience i will never advise any relative of mine to yarn for that job which has no fall back position and insecure, If they don't remove you my style way by first humiliating you, they drop you the same style we have witnessed and appoint a stooge to replace you . You will look for the reasons of your disappointment all in vain.  I don't speak for other people , because i don't know about others much as the so called patriots pretend that we are all Ugandans .  I very well know what is practiced there but i will never write about it. It is total impunity ! The bosses are taking advantage of His Excellency's .......! ,   It is between me and my God that what i went through on the hands of these guys i am not privy to say it here. Total injustice! 

How can a whole supervisor tell on my face that she hates people who come from Westnile because they like concealing information! Which information really !

 

What people don't know is president plays a very insignificant role is designating these names now . He is not part of the appointment, he only signs the instrument as the vetted list finally is submitted to his desk . All is done by the officers there in office of the president which unfortunately is skewed as tribal , nepotistic, sectarian , and appointing close family members and friends.

I have held my breath! If interdiction is lawful, you should give chance for the interdicted to defend himself and meet the Rewards and sanctions committee you stated. How do you lift an interdiction without doing investigation and giving a fear hearing and you say so and so is proven innocent ! Which law have you used?

Isn't this a total abuse of ones rights? I don't pride myself for someone being appointment an RDC. I rather do commercial farming than priding myself to be one. The respect for RDC office passed a long time ago. Its value and integrity has diminished, it is continuing to diminish day by day.
