PHOTOS: After spending four years on remand at Makindye Military barracks, senior police officer, Nixon Agasirwe who is battling charges of aiding and abetting kidnaps of Rwandan refugees is appearing before the army court for hearing of his bail application.

Agasirwe who's facing trial on two separate files on charges of failure to protect war materials,aiding and abetting kidnapping and unlawful possession of firearms applied for bail on grounds that he is suffering from severe hypertension.He wants to seek specialized medical treatment.

The elimination of using National IDs (Ndagamuntu) for the 2021 elections should not have come as a surprise.
