Today is world Hijab day. Many Muslim women choose to wear this as part of how they practice their religion. Did you know that the constitution of Uganda allows every person the right to practice their religion?
If your dress code such as the Hijab is part of how you practice your religion, then you have every right to wear this, in public, school or even at the work place.
World Hijab day reminds all of us to have religious tolerance, and respect for everyone’s religious beliefs and practices.
