Ayivu West Constituency EMYOOGA Sacco Beneficiaries Register Success, Invites Arua City Deputy RCC Adomati Dickson for Technical Guidance.
Ayivu West Constituency Market Vendors EMYOOGA SACCO apex leaders today Saturday 26th/02/2022 invited the Deputy RCC Arua city, Mr. Adomati Dickson, to address their members on savings, loans, honesty, commitment, unity and mindset change four months after successfully giving out the 30M given to them by government and all the members repaying their loans.
Speaking at the meeting at Alanos country club Onduparaka, Pajulu ward, Ayivu division in Arua city, the jolly RCC stressed that it's only through savings and repayment of the loans that the SACCO will succeed. He told the members to remain United and committed to the activities adding that his office will be happy to see the SACCO grow into a fully fledged bank. Mr. Adomati applauded the chairperson and team as well as the auditor of the SACCO for ensuring all members returned the Emyooga money borrowed by the different associations.
Dickson said President Yoweri Kaguta .T. Museveni launched Parish Development Model today and that those SACCOs already organized were likely to benefit from PDM. That the President wants the 39% of Ugandans pulled out of poverty in the next 5 years by each household earning atleast 20M annually so as to leave subsistence life and engage in money economy through improving household incomes.
Members resolved to withdraw more money next week so that they can loan out again.
The DRCC enumerated the summary of the roles of his office as chair security committee, monitoring and ensuring government services like EMYOOGA are running well, fight against corruption, mobilization, chief spokesperson of government in Arua city and any other roles would be assigned to him by Parliament or the President and that; his presence was in compliance with his roles.
The chairperson of the SACCO thanked the Deputy RCC for being flexible and attending the meeting on short notice.
