UGANDA’S MISSION IN ANKARA TURKEY

I Would like to register my appreciation for the great work the Ambassador and her team is doing representing Uganda in Turkey. It is highly commendable.

I happened to be among a number of Ugandan Businessmen who found our way to ANKARA. The Embassy registered our presence and what we wanted to do in Turkey. We had different Interests. The embassy went a head and arranged meetings between us and Turkish businessmen and also organized trips to various cities where we registered our interests. The presence of the Embassy also gave authenticity to the Ugandan businessmen and we were taken very seriously. I loved the documentary about the Ugandan Coffee they showcased in conjunction with Uganda Coffee Development Authority UCDA.

I went looking for sports and Infrastructure partners others went to look for machines for manufacturing, others went to buy goods etc.

I believe if Uganda’s Embassies across the world are doing what the team in Turkey are doing, then we are moving the right direction and not long from now, there will be a lot of inflow of investments in Uganda.
