Desist from Generating Fakery News on Government's Vaccination Programs, Arua Deputy RDC Ezama Mizamil Warns Spreaders of Such News.
Below here are the excerpts from his official Facebook page 👇👇
This evening 17th of October 2022, i had the opportunity to join a team of panelists Mr Anzi Manasseh the Senior Health Inspector for Arua District and Mr Drani Drapari the health educator for Arua District in a Radio talk show on 88.7 Arua One fm, to discuss Integrated Child Health Days During the Time of Covid-19.
Prior to the role out of vaccination exercise of children in Uganda below the age of 18, against Covid-19 and other epidemics that broke out, in social media and also in some communities, there has been a rumor and misinformation that, some of the vaccines either cause paralysis in children or even at times kills them once injected with.
I appeal to the wananchi to reject such misinformation spread by few people.
If we the government officials and health officials vaccinate ourselves and our children with the same vaccines and nothing happened to us, why should some people generate such a concocted lie to sabotage government programs and people's right to "treatment" ?.
As the office of the RDC, we would like to advise such people to desist from spreading malicious information about vaccination of people.
#Vaccination is a #Right.
Awadifo.
Yours, Arua District Deputy RDC Mr Ezama Ham Mizamil.
