Arua Deputy RDC Ham Ezama Emphasizes on Savings & Security as Ugandans Celebrate 60th Independence Day.

The Deputy Resident District Commissoner for Arua District, Mr Ezama Ham Muzamil has urged the people of Arua and WestNile region to be financially economical and security conscious as they usher into Uganda’s 60th Independence Day celebration.

We have had many people who spend all the money and food to just celebrate public holidays.
What is the essence in spending all the food and money in one day just to celebrate a fete as if there is No tomorrow ? - Mr Ham stressed.

While speaking with this online publication blog team and other media houses in WestNile region, the Deputy RDC asked the general public to be in the lookout for criminal elements as they will be celebrating the day, which is on Sunday 9-Oct-2022.

He said, much as they will be deploying security officers for protection, people should also guard their properties in homes since so many thieves at times use such public holidays to perpetrate burglary.
