Parents Praise Hon Jennifer Driwaru in Education Meeting as They Warn Badmouthing Politicians in the District Against Blasphemy.

In a constructive education meeting held on Saturday 9-July-2022, Parents and Guardians whose Children were able to get a scholarship opportunity under the District Woman Member of Parliament Hon Driwaru Jennifer, have sowed her with  praises for the sacrifice, loyalty and commitment she has shown for the vulnerable and needy students in the District in regards to her love for promoting education in the District and the Country.

One of the parent in the District said, he has always known Hon Jennifer as an Academician, citing an example from those years when Hon Jennifer was still working with NGOs, she had some people whom she was paying their fees and buying scholastic materials for other people's children as well.

Mrs Candiru Florence,  a disable woman who makes handcrafts and sales them to pay the school fees of her daughter Munduru, has thanked Hon Jennifer Driwaru for rescuing them from School Fees burden.

A parent, who does not have a child in this bursary averred that, he has been keenly observing Hon Jennifer especially from her campaigns, her manifestos, her swearing in and indeed, she has remained committed to her words and manifesto concerning education.

Another parent, Mr Marcelo whose child is amongst those admitted in the University narrated that, he has a diary book at home for noting the names of people and groups from whom he borrowed monies to pay school fees for his three children in school.
He added, one day he may soon be arrested by some of the money lenders for defaulting loan payment.
Mr Marcelo while thanking the Woman MP for the bursary initiative, has, however expressed dissatisfaction over the behavior of his son (beneficiary of the bursary), whom he said has developed stubbornness and may only be a disappointment to him and the bursary offer.
Rest of the parents applauded Hon Jennifer Driwaru, for being the first Woman MP in Maracha District to undertake this type of a task.

UGANDA ELECTORAL COMMISSION TO ELIMINATE NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARDS (IDs) FOR 2021 GENERAL ELECTIONS.

The elimination of using National IDs (Ndagamuntu) for the 2021 elections should not have come as a surprise. One would be very NAIVE to think that Bobi Wine has not prepared for this in his Business Plan under the RISK section. It is public knowledge that our EC is not independent.  It is also public knowledge that Military Dictator Yoweri Museveni will never lose an election. What stunned us this morning is when we noticed that on social media, people were mocking Bobi with his "get your Ndagamuntu".  We are on record for saying to all Our readers that the National ID is like Apartheid in South Africa. Students of History would know how those IDs were being used to arrest people, deny them jobs, deny them basic services. Consequently, Bobi was not wrong and will never be wrong on the Ndagamuntu.
