ITURI PROVINCE CONGO: More than 150 Cargoes, Tanks , Trucks Stuck on the Road Due to Deteriorated Highway Road Leading to Kisangani.

Traffic has been suspended since Wednesday June 10 on the national road number 4 which leads to Kisangani, 25 km from Nyanya on the border between the territories of Mambasa in Ituri and Bafwansende in the Province of Tshopo.
At the base, a large quagmire that blocks traffic.

According to the administrator of the Mambasa territory, Idriss Koma Kukodila, more than 150 vehicles are blocked carrying goods from Beni, North Kivu and Komanda.

Idriss Koma Kukodila adds that there are also dozens of fuel tankers that leave for Kisangani that are stranded there.

According to some users, this national road becomes more and more an ordeal following the roadway which has deteriorated sharply.

The administrator of the territory indicates that this situation creates a significant grouping of populations. What constitutes a danger in this period of the Coronavirus pandemic.

He fears that this place is a source of insecurity due to the large number of users who spend the night under the stars.
That is why he calls for rapid intervention by the central government to rehabilitate this route of national interest.
