Finally Bobi Wine Realizes His so Called Supporters in Diaspora are Creating Hatred Amongst Opposition Fraternity in Uganda.
I have heard his message today, this is exactly what I have been writing on this page, the idea of supporters attacking and blackmailing others for sharing a different views or not opening supporting Bobi Wine creates a negative impact.
The idea of calling people moles/spies is actually add less value to people power, Spying on who and what information is there to collect?
Many resourceful people have been demoralized, you hear a goon like Fred lumbuye kajjubi in Turkey claiming to be this close to Bobi Wine, attacking everyone including the Katikiro of Buganda, you hear Peng Peng coming out to dehumanize Buganda for likes, shares and comments, these boys know nothing about politics and strategies.
Do you expect a person like Gen Mugisha Muntu to ally with you if you dehumanize a kingdom? If you can openly attack a kingdom then what guarantees do we have that it won't be me tomorrow, these boys have attacked everyone from Kizza Besigye, Norbert Mao, Muntu, Katikiro even the Kabaka, this alone puts their leader in a difficult position.
True Bobi Wine has the option of denying them, he has taken this option to his advantage many times even now but he forgets that these boys are young mentally, they leak, they show off and provide proof that they speak to you directly and on your orders, sometime we saw peng showing proof that he speaks to Bobi this alone is a killers, Lumbuye shown us proof that he does work for the big man and again pulling the switch.
If I see peng with bobi today take a selfie and know the two have each others contacts what stops me from believing that the attack was sanctioned, I can tell you that a leader can always stop an attack and even cause an apology if he feels it's appropriate. Where do they get the energy to attack somebody of high status and use you as reference yet you never come out to disassociate?
Baganda have structures and are not stupid, they will keep quiet but come out to the occasion, the only reason Kizza Besigye failed to take power is because he failed to fully have control of one region in Uganda, this is exactly why Bobi Wine will not take power, if you can't take 80% votes in Buganda then you are joking.
Your supporters need to focus on getting people on your side, attacking people or groups with followers only stops you from getting more support, what you have is not enough to get power you need everyone to defeat a strong man who is looking at your supporters with intention to win them, President Museveni doesn't underestimate anyone to him Ashburg Katto is big fish, he will take it and feed it well, to Bobi Wine Titus is small fish and that is a mistake.
We are moving closer to elections, people are starting to openly come out and say they support museveni without fear, whether they are paid or not is debate for another day, the fact that they openly say it means a lot the ruling party, they are no longer silent about their support and this alone should pose a scare to People Power.
The clear definition of person oppressed is ”to burden with cruel or unjust impositions or restraints; subject to a burdensome or harsh exercise of authority or power” oppressed is ”subject to harsh and authoritarian treatment”
Now if you still use the phrase ”the oppressed” and the oppressor to win you votes my dear you will be challenged, 90% of Ugandans are not in politics and therefore not oppressed they have other issues like health care, unemployment, poverty, nepotism, corruption etc and these can not be answered by cheap talk but real policies and plans that an aspiring leader should show before getting to power so that people can vote him.
The talk of Freedom I hear fighting for freedom is not something Ugandans want to know, we still have ugandans that witnessed other regimes they will tell you that no civilian can guarantee freedom in Africa without the will of the Army, now if the Ugandan Army is being attacked and maligned how then will they guarantee the freedom you promise after you making them the enemy? You will find difficulty convincing a history student about Freedom they have read the worst and still see people in worse conditions at our neighbors.
But what freedoms are we talking about, one can argue that Uganda has the freedom people need the only people without Freedom in Uganda are the gay (LGBT)community which is 1% then the politicians who are 9% these one have limited freedom, the other average person is enjoying Uganda, they are in bars and clubs from Monday to Sunday, they have freedom of speech although in some cases police limits it but this is not institutional, so how will Bobi Wine guarantee Freedom of Speech of Ugandans if his own People Power people are not free to speak? Those who freely speak are moles or spies.
Democracy, for anyone to claim fighting for democracy they must be willing to share power with people, who voted Bobi Wine as People Power leader? Who voted other leaders in People Power, we just see announcements of one person, Bobi wakes up in the morning and names someone and people clear up, this is dictatorship it starts like this and ends up different.
Transparency, oh this is the biggest issue with all opposition groups, there is money from donors it's little but in billions and soon members start to look at it as the source of income, these words mole start when money comes in, don't be fooled opposition is a source of funding, there are democratic organizations that provide funds to parties and groups it's all within the law. The problem comes when the groups start using this money to benefit their personal businesses.
Am here to make comments on everything inclusive politics, my comments are simply my opinions and they change depending to the existing factors.
Disclaimer: For now I don't belong to any Political Party or group, I am not yet convinced but when I make up my mind whoever takes me should be ready for internal criticism where things don't go as planned.
