Greetings fellow Ugandans and Africans.
I chose this moment to write about Africa's Lazy mentality towards Technology.
We are all aware ever since this Covid-19 Epidemic broke out in February-2020, it has forced the World into a Social Distancing and banning of crowds as a way of preventing it's spread.
However, there are these rigorous prices people are paying as a result of the epidemic; Flights, Travels, Jobs, Churches, Mosques, Schools and other Social Activities all came to a standstill, sadly floating many People into using Technology to keep moving with their routine Activities.
This has impacted badly on the side of Education World wide, but impacted more dangerous especially on an African Education system that was never in Love with using of Technology.
By Virtue, it is somehow slow to blame the African Education system because Education was something Africans inherited from the Western Continents of Europe, America and Asia.
Perhaps, what is responsible and must be fought, is the Negativity theory towards Technology in Africa, which is an African Myth that, “TECHNOLOGY IS NOT BASIC NEED”.
You proof this by asking an African to Buy for you a COMPUTER or buy for you an INTERNET DATA (MBs)! They will tell you, “Am not ready or i don't have Money to buy for you the Computer or Internet Bundle (MBs)”.
Unfortunate.
This is where the attitude of killing Talents in Technology starts in Africa.
As the rest of the World (especially Western Countries) are Flourishing with Lectures and Teaching their School Children via Internet (Zoom, Livestream etc), Africa is lagging behind and grappling with miserable Radio Station and TV Station Lectures / Teachings.
How sure are we that, Students will fully understand these Lectures / Teachings via the traditional medias (Radios, Newspapers and TVs)?.
Trust me Osuta Yusuf, this is just a Joke and Wastage of Time.
Most of Our African Students will not Learn anything from these ways of Lecturing through Radio.
To proof this, ask a Student at your Home or Neighbor.
At least, with a Comprehensive Modern Technology (FACEBOOK Livestream, WHATSAPP Zoom, VIBER Video Calling, SKYPE Video Conferencing, ZOOM Video Conferencing etc etc), Our African Students would be at the right truck of Learning and Understanding the Teachings, the better.
Students with Smartphones, Tablets and Computers, would be more of Advantage and beneficial to this scheme of Lectures via Modern Technology (Internet), but unfortunately we have a TECHNOLOGY CURSE in AFRICA, that we need to break.
Breaking of this Technology Curse needs your roles and my roles, by participating and voicing agitations in support of TALENTS IN TECHNOLOGY IN AFRICA.

I SPEAK ALL THESE, FOR, THE PEARL OF AFRICA.

Thanks.

We Bring You Brief Series of Sanctions Against Uganda Government Officials.

📸: Gen Abel Kandiho. On 9-December-2021, USA slapped sanctions against the then CMI Commander Gen Abel Kandiho. 📸: Gen Kale Kayihura. On 9-December-2022, UK slapped sanctions against former Police Boss Gen Kale Kayihura. 📸: Commissioner General of Prisons, Johnson Byabashaija. Again on this 4-December-2023, the same USA has slapped sanctions against Uganda Prisons Commander Johnson Byabashaija over alleged torture and human rights abuses in Prisons across Uganda. We ask, has USA and UK made December as an LCM to slap sanctions against high ranking government officials in Uganda even when the sanctions just remain on paper without deeper investigations to ascertain logical conclusions or remedy to that effect ?. #iip_updates  #Information_is_Power  #we_inform_the_uninformed

UGANDA ELECTORAL COMMISSION TO ELIMINATE NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARDS (IDs) FOR 2021 GENERAL ELECTIONS.

The elimination of using National IDs (Ndagamuntu) for the 2021 elections should not have come as a surprise. One would be very NAIVE to think that Bobi Wine has not prepared for this in his Business Plan under the RISK section. It is public knowledge that our EC is not independent.  It is also public knowledge that Military Dictator Yoweri Museveni will never lose an election. What stunned us this morning is when we noticed that on social media, people were mocking Bobi with his "get your Ndagamuntu".  We are on record for saying to all Our readers that the National ID is like Apartheid in South Africa. Students of History would know how those IDs were being used to arrest people, deny them jobs, deny them basic services. Consequently, Bobi was not wrong and will never be wrong on the Ndagamuntu. Except the ones attacking him and mocking him forget that in Uganda, now, no National ID (Ndagamuntu), no service.  If you have not been denied registering your child i...
