Fighting Corruption: Hon Rose Obigah Urges IGG To Go After the “Big Fish” Not the “Small Fish”.

The Terego District Woman MP Hon Rose Obigah has advised IGG to majorly focus on arresting corrupt people who steal big amounts of money instead of focusing on arresting people who steal small amounts of money in the Country.

The Woman MP made the statements during monitoring and evaluation meeting held on Thursday 23-3-2023 at IGG’s regional office in Mbarara City, Uganda.

After finalizing the meeting in Mbarara City, Hon Rose Obigah together with her colleagues in legal and parliamentary affairs proceeded to Masaka City to supervise and hold meeting with Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) regional office is Masaka Sub-region.

She appealed to DPP to put a spirited effort to see the vulnerable persons deep in the villages get justice as it is deserved by the law.

Hon Rose appealed for transparency in delivery of justice.

The meeting also discussed the challenges facing the two entities IGG and DPP in fighting corruption and delivery of justice in the country.
