The list of those whose accounts have been successfully hacked and their email address and phone numbers changed are; Mr Ejidra Samuel, Mr Apangu Kennedy Fanuel etc.
It's only these two people (Mr Apangu & Mr Ejidra Samuel) whose accounst i have not been able to secure back from the hackers.
In the mean time, i advise my people of WestNile region to take precautionary measures as follows;
1. Don't trust to share and let people know the email and telephone numbers attached to your internet accounts like Google, PayPal, Facebook, Mobile Banking Apps, LinkedIn, iCloud, Instagram, Personal / Company Websites, Microsoft, Twitter etc.
Hackers bypass Two Factor Authentication (TFA) securities by cloning your telephone number you reveal to them.
In simple understanding, "cloning" your telephone number means, photocopying your phone number / simcard that allows the hackers to access everything to do with your simcard including calls and sms messages.
This process is very hard to be detected in short time by the telecom companies (eg MTN, Airtel etc).
2. Don't click on any link from untrusted sources / unknown people.
This second process of hacking is called "Phishing" and it enables a hacker to design a link, once it is sent and you click on it, it hijacks you to into a website that will end up installing malware into your phone or computer without your knowledge henceforth collecting all your personal data like SMS, Passwords, Calls, ATM details and so on.
Stay tuned here as i shall be writing more precautionary measures to save you and your friends from being hacked.
