The women representative for Terego District, Hon Obigah Rose has thanked the UPDF Army under the able command of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is also the Commander-in-Chief of armed forces in Uganda, for chasing ADF and other rebel outfits like M23 out of Uganda.

The woman MP made the speech at 5pm Wednesday 25-1-2023 during the plenary session in Parliament.

She mentioned areas like Bundibugyo and Simbili in Maracha District, where she said, if the rebels might have penrtrated their way through into these regions, they would have caused a lot of havoc to the people and their properties.

Hon Rose Obigah, in her closing castigated some leaders / commanders who oftentimes chop off the monies sent for them, adding that, many of these officers can not speak for themselves because of wither fear or respect.

She quoted biblical term, saying, "Give what belongs to Ceaser, to Ceaser and give what belongs to God, to God".
