Third Day Visit in Ghana; Hon Obigah Rose Deliberated on Measures of Reducing Accidents.

Hon Rose Obigah in her Usual brilliant and knowledgeable presentations, is making great submissions in the Bloomberg philanthropies sitting in Acraa Ghana which is it's first regional sitting that has taken place within Africa.  She submitted that Uganda has a Paliamentary Road Safety Forum with it's Patron non other than the speaker of the 11th Parliament Rt Hon Anita Annet Among.                                                         This forum advocates through moving motions, raising matters of National importance etc on the floor of Parliament so that the  legislators can offer solutions to reduce/ eradicate the  over ten [10] people who die per day in the country due to accidents. Uganda needs to enforce correct use of helmets,  public awareness,  equip the emergency  centre's, properly mark the black spots and put strong warnings but in future redesign the roads,  increase on servaillance on the roads by putting enough butterfly cameras which are active 24hours etc.

Akol Esther serves in the Very Important Persons Protection Unit (VIPPU) of the police force. Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire says Akol Esther might be demoted or expelled from the police force if found guilty of circulating nude photos. Police court is yet to announce date when Akol Esther is expected to appear for a hearing. This comes at a time when Pornography Control Committee is taking tough measures against persons circulating pornography content. The committee warned and promised to arrest persons who will circulate pornographic content.
