President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Reshuffles Top Army Commanders in the Mighty UPDF After Ministers Sworn In.

The new changes and appointments in the mighty Uganda Peoples Defense Force (UPDF);

1. Lt Gen Wilson Mbadi promoted to full General and appointed as Commander of Defense Force (CDF), replacing Gen David Muhoozi who is now MP representing UPDF and also been appointed Minister for Security.

2. Lt Gen Peter Elwelu appointed as the Deputy Commander of Defense Forces (DCDF).

3. Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is appointed Commander of Land Forces.

4. Maj Gen Sam Okiding is appointed Deputy Commander of Land Forces (DCLF).

5. Maj Gen Leopard Kyanda is appointed Joint Chief of Staff (JCS).

6. Brig Gen Bod Ogio is appointed Chief of Staff Land Forces.

7. Brig Daniel Kakono is appointed Commander Field Artillery Division.

8. Brig Gen Peter Chandia is appointed Ag Commander Special Force Command.

9. Brig Gen Felix Buzisoori is appointed 21/C Commandant SFC.

10. Lt Gen Charles Angina posted to Foreign Affairs.

11. Maj Gen Sam Kavuma posted to Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) as 21/C.

12. Lt Gen Joseph Musanyufu posted to the Civil Service.

13. Maj Gen Kasura Kyomukama deployed in the Civil Service.

14. Brig Gen Charles Kisembo - Kyankwanzi Political School.
