What was "Impossible" in the political history of Maracha Constituency has become "Possible" in the tenure of Oguzu Lee, says an excited voter.
The area MP has since his election from 2016 pursued what's due to the people, the most recent being hoes which were lobbied and pursued from Ministry of Agriculture.
According to Hon Oguzu Lee, "where as many nations have advanced from use of hand hoes to tractors, land fragmentation in some of the communties still warrant use of handhoes. Besides, some farmers are too poor to afford tractor hiring and miss out on such government programs.
Hoes are not the only programs the MP has pushed through with government.
Now areas that didn't have electricity are being connected.
Subcouties like Oluvu which didn't have government secondary schools have their works in progress. Health Centre IIs are being upgraded to IIIs and IVs.
Tractors have been delivered to SACCOs to support farming. Stalled Urban water projects have been reactivated. Community Vocational institutions and Skilling programs which were missing before he got elected have taken route. What's most exciting to some is power reaching their communties. Many youth have expressed interest is starting small scale businesses like barber shops and welding garages.
On top pursuing these government programs, Oguzu's social responsibility investment in his community is very visible and adorable. He's known for supporting and empowering disadvantaged groups and kids. Be supplied ironsheets to all religious leaders in the constituency and has offered to do more in this Kisanja.
Comparing his performance to that of the past, looking at the plans he has, in the public domain, Hon Oguzu is still a dedicated and an irreplaceable leader of people of Matacha. Many think he has helped to bring to forefront of issues the aspirations of the ordinary people.
