DEO Flavia Osoa, Engineer Ezati Timothy, Mr Abiribale internal Auditor and Mr Noah Environment Officer arrested over shoddy works, abuse of office and mismanagement of public funds.

The arrested Maracha District officials are expected to be transferred to Kampala tomorrow 15-6-2022 for proper handling of their case by Statehouse Anti-corruption Unit, ISO and other State entities for fighting corruption.

Their arrest was on orders of Maracha District RDC Mr Ayikobua Festus and Minister for Economic monitoring and planning Hon Peter Ogwang following information from Whistleblowers and Media that went viral displaying a possible corruption scandal in the District costing over millions of Shillings unaccounted to.
