Money and House Pledges from President Museveni Remain Unfulfilled as Old House Develops Cracks on the Orphans of Former Arua MP Col Ibrahim Abiriga.

Following the mysterious shooting of former Arua MP Col Ibrahim Abiriga in June-2018, the investigations into his killing have remained Unknown.

On the day of his burial, President Museveni had pledged some financial support of 50 million shillings and a new house for his orphans.

The irony lies in the fulfillment of the promise.

In June-2021, the family of the former late Legislator, cried out for several times to the government to fulfill the pledges President Museveni made on 10-June-2018 during the burial of the slain MP.

The President promised to build a commercial building and to give UGX 50 million to the family SACCO since their breadwinner had been killed.

They add that they have failed to receive relief funds meant to take care of the family during this pandemic and implore the government to follow it up.

According to some sources, the current house the former late MP left, which has developed cracks, was built since 1960s.

A section  of some people including Activits from WestNile region are now vowing to fundraise money for the family of the late MP if Government (President Museveni) has failed to deliver the promises made.

UGANDA ELECTORAL COMMISSION TO ELIMINATE NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARDS (IDs) FOR 2021 GENERAL ELECTIONS.

The elimination of using National IDs (Ndagamuntu) for the 2021 elections should not have come as a surprise. One would be very NAIVE to think that Bobi Wine has not prepared for this in his Business Plan under the RISK section. It is public knowledge that our EC is not independent.  It is also public knowledge that Military Dictator Yoweri Museveni will never lose an election. What stunned us this morning is when we noticed that on social media, people were mocking Bobi with his "get your Ndagamuntu".  We are on record for saying to all Our readers that the National ID is like Apartheid in South Africa. Students of History would know how those IDs were being used to arrest people, deny them jobs, deny them basic services. Consequently, Bobi was not wrong and will never be wrong on the Ndagamuntu. Except the ones attacking him and mocking him forget that in Uganda, now, no National ID (Ndagamuntu), no service.  If you have not been denied registering your child i...
