FDC [2-Nov-2022 3:26pm]; Hullo, This is the Forum for Democratic Change -FDC Uganda. Lets talk about how Democracy can be upheld in our country. It is our collective responsibility as Citizens of this great Nation to restore the rule of law and democracy in Uganda.
This is therefore to invite you to join us in this struggle for a socially, economically and politically transformed Uganda.
Osuta [2-Nov-2022 4:02pm]; When my freedom was curtailed in January-2018 over my noble write ups of criticizing NRM party leadership which is the party in Government, no single Opposition activist nor MP stood with me, except the MP for Maracha County Hon Oguzu Lee Denis (FDC) who tried to stand with me on the first day 8-January-2018 in that difficult situation.
I stayed indoors for 18 days!
My freedom of movement and work were all curtailed!
The rest of the people who stood with me to make sure i was left to be a free man, were some few NRM people including among others Mr Adomati Dickson (staunch NRM cadre), Hon James Acidri (former Maracha East MP) and Hon Anite Evelyn who later on played a crucial role which i can’t share here.
Those are the people i remain indebted to as far as my freedom that time was concerned.
During that month January 2018 when i was in trouble, i tried to communicate my dilemma to FDC headquarter through Mr Harold Kaija, who later on referred me to Hon Wadri Kassiano whom he said can be able to help me through getting for me a lawyer and so on, up to date and up to tomorrow, i am still waiting for their feedback as FDC headquarter.
I can’t mention the names of other people and lawyers who contributed into my freedom way back in 2018.
From 2020, as a way of smoothening my career in Media, freelancing, i decided to neutralize my write ups, reportage and my opinions about the political, economic and social events happening in Uganda.
To cut these short, i am now a reformed writer and media practitioner who doesn’t see it necessary to subscribe to any any political party in Uganda because of their occult behaviors, where by, when a party supports something, no member can oppose it.
I am okay where i am right now as an Independent writer, reporter, activist and freelancer from WestNile Region.
Thanks.
Yours, Osuta
One Uganda, One People
