Increasing Number of People Smoking Marijuana in Arua District Worries Clergies.

During a conference meeting organised by Uganda Society for Disability Children (USDC), held at Tropical Suites Hotel Arua this afternoon 9-November-2022, the Catechist of Ocoko Parish in Ajia Sub-County, Mr Simon Adriko who represented the clergy members from the District, raised a concern over the growing number of People smoking Marijuana and abusing other drugs in Arua District throughout the night.

Mr Adriko asked for an answer, on if it's the Arua District officials who have given a permission for growing and smoking of Marijuana in the District.

He said, many people especially Youths in Ajia Sub-County start smoking Marijuana from 7pm upto 11pm.

At these hours of the night, breathing Air becomes hard for them in Ajia Sub-County, the Catechist added, a statement that triggered some members in the conference meeting to burst into laughter.
