Hon Driwaru Jennifer Donates Uniforms, Gloves and Balls to 20 Teams to Boost Sports in Maracha District.

The District woman MP for Maracha, Hon Driwaru Jennifer has on Saturday 26-11-2022 delivered sports items costing over 4 million Shs to 20 Women sports teams in Maracha District.

Speaking during the handover, the Woman MP thanked the sports sector in Maracha District for being United and organized, and pledged to continue supporting them regardless of political circumstances.

Hon Jennifer noted that, sports should not only be a venture where people go to have fun or cure stress but it should also be a venture in which people identify and support talents.

She said, what she has done is a fulfillment of a pledge she made earlier on after the sports teams in the District presented to her some requests to support them in anyway.

The Items.

The woman MP, Hon Jennifer bought 20 dozens of sports uniforms, 20 pairs of gloves, 20 balls and 20 pieces of headbands for team captains.

The generous woman MP warned people against segregation and divisionism, saying, she is a Woman MP, the Mother of Maracha District and no body should use divisionism words or segregation to humiliate or attack anyone or any group or team that is benefiting from her donations.

If in Europe, Asia and other Western Countries people take sports as one of the uniting factors, why should it be a source of divisionism for us in Africa or here in Maracha ?, Hon Jennifer asked.

I urge everyone to embrace sports as a unifying, socialism and talent centered factor instead of using it to generate abuses, hatred, vulgar languages and divisionism, she advised.

The sports officer for Maracha District, Mr Aniku Henry praised Hon Driwaru Jennifer for that massive support for the teams.

From a comparison analysis, he said, Hon Jennifer Driwaru is the only person in the history of Maracha District to give massive financial and material support for the sports sector in the District.

He said, Hon Alex Onzima the former MP for Maracha and Minister with some other few people in the list of Maracha District tried their best to support sports ventures but Hon Driwaru Jennifer has done the extraordinary amongst all those who have supported sports activities and sports teams in Maracha District.

Mr Henry applauded each and every individual in the District who has tried what they can, to offer charity as far as sports is concerned.

The beneficiaries (teams) of the donation appealed to the people of Maracha District not to politicize or frustrate Hon Driwaru Jennifer.

We ask, has USA and UK made December as an LCM to slap sanctions against high ranking government officials in Uganda even when the sanctions just remain on paper without deeper investigations to ascertain logical conclusions or remedy to that effect ?. #iip_updates  #Information_is_Power  #we_inform_the_uninformed

UGANDA ELECTORAL COMMISSION TO ELIMINATE NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARDS (IDs) FOR 2021 GENERAL ELECTIONS.

The elimination of using National IDs (Ndagamuntu) for the 2021 elections should not have come as a surprise. One would be very NAIVE to think that Bobi Wine has not prepared for this in his Business Plan under the RISK section. It is public knowledge that our EC is not independent.  It is also public knowledge that Military Dictator Yoweri Museveni will never lose an election. What stunned us this morning is when we noticed that on social media, people were mocking Bobi with his "get your Ndagamuntu".  We are on record for saying to all Our readers that the National ID is like Apartheid in South Africa. Students of History would know how those IDs were being used to arrest people, deny them jobs, deny them basic services. Consequently, Bobi was not wrong and will never be wrong on the Ndagamuntu. Except the ones attacking him and mocking him forget that in Uganda, now, no National ID (Ndagamuntu), no service.  If you have not been denied registering your child i...
