Days ago, a clip went around social media where the police paraded and undressed a man that had been dressing up as a woman so that he could con and steal from the unsuspecting public. He was also forced to display his 'privates' so that they could 'prove' that he was indeed not a woman.
WHAT DOES THE LAW SAY?
According to the Ugandan Constitution (the supreme law of the land), anyone who is accused of a crime is still innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
Any evidence that one may get from parading a suspect such as photos and videos, may be kicked out of court since it can be argued that it was 'staged.'
