The state minister for finance, Hon Amos Lugolobi who also doubles as Ntenjeru North County MP has asked the Parliament and Government of Uganda to include religious entities in the annual financial budgets to help the clergies who serve the Country in line with spiritual, moral and faith related issues.
The Minister made the request at Parliament this evening 6pm 5-April-2022 when Current and Former MPs converged to pay their last respect to fallen speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Jacob Oulanyah who died in Seattle USA on Sunday 20-3-2022.
According to Hon Lugolobi, Countries like Malaysia always allocate money for religious entities in their financial year budgets.
As per the contributions Pastors, Sheiks and other clergy members of various religious entities have made to this God fearing Country, it’s likely that a big number of the citizens will aver his idea for government to facilitate religions in Uganda.
