Religion; Woman Converts to Protestant, Gets Baptized at Okokoro Church of Uganda in Maracha District.

A 24-years-old Lekuru Sharon daughter of late Joe from ROTI village, Lamila Parish in Okokoro Town Council (formerly Kijomoro Sub-County) has today 2pm 24-12-2021 changed from Catholic to Protestant and got baptized by Pastor James Orijabo.

When asked why she has chosen to convert from Catholic to Protestant, the young lady who spent most of her time growing and working in Kampala explained that, she has found it meaningless for her to remain in Catholic religion since she has never been baptized in all her life time in that religion.

Baptism, which is a symbol of “Salvation “ is interpreted in different ways by different religious entities in the World as some of them chose not to follow and abide by the baptism prophesied by John the Baptist.
