How Doctor Allan was Fought Out of DHO Office Terego District.

2021 Has Been a Year With Full of Unfolding Events in WestNile Region - Uganda.

#Episode_One; In-fighting.

#Terego District.

Dear Westnilers, how far is the progress on the petition to Minsitry of Public Service over the appointment of statesman Harold Acema to Terego District service commission board?.

Harold Acema, a graduate of; Makerere University, Oxford University and University of Toronto in Canada is petitioned  at Mininstry of Public Service on grounds of Lack of Academic papers! 😁😀😂

By virtue, the petition has put intellectual Acema’s vetting and approval on “Hault”.

No matter the criteria that was used by the petitioners to arrive to this kind laughable petition, i think the whole thing was filed in a bad faith and such kinds of petitions might have been influenced by some individuals on hidden motives.

Why have i said this!.

When Terego District was given the District status and to start fully functioning in year 2020, a one experienced Doctor called Dr Allan, having diligently served the people of Terego District for many years in various health centers in the District, including in Omugo Health Center and others, he was appointed, waiting vetting and approval as the District Health Officer (DHO) for the baby District.

However, his vetting and approval was rigorously fought after some section of self centered people influenced the Political heads in the District to frustrate the approval of Dr Allan as the DHO for Terego District on grounds that, they have a “Son of the Soil” whose name could be fronted for vetting and approval for the position.

God works in different ways!

That cartel of tribal dudes at the District eventually succeeded to endorse, vet and approve their own as the DHO for the District, as they wanted but little did they know that karma is a bitch and doesn’t joke.

Months into his reign in office as the DHO, things started unfolding and this same Dr Allan they humiliated and segregated on tribal and other reasons, was the same Doctor they contacted to help fix the mess that dude was perpetrating in the District because of inexperience and laziness.

To cut the long story short, Dr Allan successfully applied for transfer and he is currently working in one of the Government Health Centers in Ayivu Division, Arua City - WestNile Region.

That messy scheme at Terego District caused the transfer of the then Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) whose regime abetted and played a role in such a regrettable and unfair in-fighting in Government offices.

Fate compelled that dude to quit the position and upto date, the position of DHO Terego District is still vacant.

That is Terego District for you; read, compare and contrast.

WestNile seems to be a leading region in Uganda infiltrated by selfish, greedy and tribal people who ignite wars from nowhere through Government and Organisation offices to achieve their selfish and personal greed interests.

The Big Task for the Youth Generation in WestNile Region.

As the 21 century youth generation that seeks to move on the right path by slushing, paving way for development, service delivery and build a highly regarded reputation our future generations shall adore and be proud of, some of us the Youths will quit the struggle, others will join us, remain with us in these fights against Corruption, Tribalism, Segregation while others will be deflated along the way as sacrifices for this noble cause since some of the perpetrators of these heinous schemes are becoming wild by intimidating, arresting or even bribing some of us with the patriotism heart for our people, our region and our country 🇺🇬.

The greatest strength to fight these unhuman acts depend in our hands as the Youths, regardless of status; poor or rich, educated or uneducated, ugly or beautiful, let’s all speak in one voice against the machinaries of Nepotism, Corruption and Racism.

I speak all these, For God and My County 🇺🇬 .

UGANDA ELECTORAL COMMISSION TO ELIMINATE NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARDS (IDs) FOR 2021 GENERAL ELECTIONS.

The elimination of using National IDs (Ndagamuntu) for the 2021 elections should not have come as a surprise. One would be very NAIVE to think that Bobi Wine has not prepared for this in his Business Plan under the RISK section. It is public knowledge that our EC is not independent.  It is also public knowledge that Military Dictator Yoweri Museveni will never lose an election. What stunned us this morning is when we noticed that on social media, people were mocking Bobi with his "get your Ndagamuntu".  We are on record for saying to all Our readers that the National ID is like Apartheid in South Africa. Students of History would know how those IDs were being used to arrest people, deny them jobs, deny them basic services. Consequently, Bobi was not wrong and will never be wrong on the Ndagamuntu. Except the ones attacking him and mocking him forget that in Uganda, now, no National ID (Ndagamuntu), no service.  If you have not been denied registering your child i...

Parliament Urges Government to Provide Shs 4 Billion to Media Houses to Run Awareness Campaign on Tourism in Uganda.

Parliament also urged Gov’t to provide additional Shs4Bn to UTB to engage international and national media houses in production of positive media stories for improved destination image, following reports of drop in number of tourists from US, Europe and China visiting Uganda. "The National Development Plan targeted to cumulatively attract 281,760 International Tourist arrivals from US, Europe & China but only 67,252 arrivals were registered by the end of the first half of FY 2023/24. The U.S, Europe & China were key target source for leisure tourist who stay longer than business tourists. However, statistics show that international arrivals from the aforementioned areas have continue to drop. The UTB requires Shs4Bn to engage international & national media houses in production of positive tourism stories to improve destination perception in light of recent controversies that shade the destination in a bad light. However, this has remained unfunded,” said La...
