ON 29-MAY-2020, HON AYAKA ROSE DONATED; CLOTHES, SOAPS, SALT, BLANKETS AND MONEY TO SUPPORT VICTIMS OF CONGOLESE INVASION IN NYAMI VILLAGE, OBIBA SUB-COUNTY IN MARACHA DISTRICT.

It was on Friday 29-May-2020 when Maracha District Woman Member of Parliament, Hon Ayaka Rose Atima gave Relief Items; Clothes, Mosquito Nets, Soaps, Blankets, Salt and some Monies to People of Obiba Sub-County, who were attacked in April-2020 by Congolese.

The havoc that escalated from a misinformation over a Guy, whose death the neighboring Congolese alleged liable on the People of Nyami Village, Obiba Sub-County along Uganda - Congo Boarder, resulted into ignition of Houses, and 18 Cows, Sheep, Goats and Pigs were also robbed by the hostile Invaders and taken to Congo.

Besides donating those Relief Items, Hon Ayaka also swore interceding to be part and party in the negotiations between the Government of Uganda and the Government of Congo, to ensure all those Animals taken by the Congolese are returned back safely to Uganda.

The Victims of the Invasion have Thanked the Woman MP Hon Rose Ayaka, for being an Examplary and Dedicated Leader whose Sacrifices to Help and Rescue Lives, can never be equalled in Maracha District.

Meanwhile, the Security Forces (Soldiers and Police) in Maracha District have pledged total Support to Hon Ayaka in the process of negotiations to bring back those Animals of Ugandans, robbed by the Congolese People.
