CONGRATULATIONS HON ARIDRU GABRIEL, HON OSORU MOURINE AND HON ATIKU BENARD UP ON REFUNDING 20M SHILLINGS ($5330) EACH TO ARUA DISTRICT COVID-19 TASK FORCE.


Appreciations once again to the MP of Ayivu County Hon Atiku Benard, MP of Vurra County Hon Aridru Gabriel and Woman MP of Arua District Hon Osoru Mourine, for returning total of Cash 60 Million Shillings (20 X 3 = 60M) to Arua District Covid-19 Task Force Team.
The Task Force Team upon receiving the Cash 20 Million Shillings each from the MPs, Hon Atiku Benard yesterday 25-May-2020 also donated Hoes to be given to Farmers and also the Vulnerable People in Arua District.
Out of the Four MPs of Arua District, it is only Hon Wadri Kassiano who failed to refund the 20 Million Shillings ($5330) which was allocated for each Ugandan MP to fight Covid-19.
The Acts of these Three MPs in Arua District, shows a deep Sign of Humanity, Abideness, Love and Solidarity in regards to Orders and Laws governing a Country.

Parliament Urges Government to Provide Shs 4 Billion to Media Houses to Run Awareness Campaign on Tourism in Uganda.

Parliament also urged Gov’t to provide additional Shs4Bn to UTB to engage international and national media houses in production of positive media stories for improved destination image, following reports of drop in number of tourists from US, Europe and China visiting Uganda. "The National Development Plan targeted to cumulatively attract 281,760 International Tourist arrivals from US, Europe & China but only 67,252 arrivals were registered by the end of the first half of FY 2023/24.
