Speak About the Issues that Concern Your People, NRM SG Rt Hon Todwong Tells WestNile Leaders.

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Party Secretary General Rt Hon Todwong Richard has firmly told politicians of WestNile region to speak for their people instead of keeping silent. He said, as leaders, if you don’t speak about the problems of your people, someone will come to speak about them on your behalf and henceforth portraying you as leaders who do not care about the concerns of the people. The SG made the affirmations this evening 4pm 11-April-2023 at Golf ground Arua City as political leaders, technocrats, religious leaders, opinion leaders and cultural leaders await to receive Gen Yoweri Museveni for two days Presidential tour in WestNile region. He also talked about the political score card in WestNile region from 2006 to 2021, of which, he said, the people in this region have been overwhelmingly voting for President Museveni and other NRM party candidates in various positions. Rt Hon Todwong stressed on the need for love & unity amongst NRM party and political leaders in the region. He made the statements as he acknowledges NRM Central Executive Committee (CEC) as some of the causes for the internal bickering and divisionism amongst the political leaders.
