Fighting Climate Change: Hon Rose Woos People in Terego to Embrace Tree Planting.

The Terego District woman MP Hon Rose Obigha has on monday 10-April-2023 urged the people in the district to venture in fruit tree plantations and other types of lucrative trees.

The woman MP was speaking at the annual Omugo Progressive Forum meeting.

She said, our people should cuddle planting fruits and other variety of trees to alleviate poverty in the long run and to avert impending climatic catastrophe.

Hon Rose irked that, she has so far setup 2 million fruit / tree seedlings and plans to increase it to 5 million on a vast land she acquired to implement the project.

She has therefore advised those who have cultivated their gardens to go for collection of the fruit / tree seedlings at no cost attached to it.
