Finance Minister Hon Kasaija Returns Scandalous Ironsheets for Fear of Being Arrested.

Finance Minister Matia Kasaija has returned to OPM stores in Namanve a consignment of the controversial Karamoja iron sheets he received, pending verification of quantity and quality by CID officers before acceptance by store administrators.The move by Kasaija comes a day after his junior, Amos Lugoloobi, was remanded to Luzira prison following his arrest on April 14, 2023 over the scandal that has left government struggling to save face.
