Hon Zumura Maneno and Other Obongi District Officials Intensify Mobilization Ahead of President Museveni’s Tour in Madi Sub-region.

State Minister for Investment and Privatization, Hon Evelyn Anite in company of  Woman MP for Obongi District, Hon Maneno Zumura, the area MP Dr Bhoka Didi and entire District officials have increased their mobilization strategy days ahead of arrival of President Yoweri Museveni. The President who is on a regional tour is expected to be in WestNile Sub-region on Tuesday 11-April-2023 specifically to visit PDM Sacco groups, farmers among other categories of people and later on at Gold ground Arua City, he will address the political leaders, business fraternity, religious leaders, technocrats and traditional leaders. On Wednesday 12-April-2023, the President will be in Obongi District, Madi sub-region to perform the same activities. Akol Esther serves in the Very Important Persons Protection Unit (VIPPU) of the police force. Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire says Akol Esther might be demoted or expelled from the police force if found guilty of circulating nude photos. Police court is yet to announce date when Akol Esther is expected to appear for a hearing. This comes at a time when Pornography Control Committee is taking tough measures against persons circulating pornography content. The committee warned and promised to arrest persons who will circulate pornographic content.
