Ukrainian media and independent Russian publications like Meduza have reported that VK users have received messages from what appears to be the official VK account about Russia's war on Ukraine. "Today is the 25th day of Putin's war against Ukraine. During this time, the Russian army has turned many peaceful cities into ruins, destroying over 3500 civilian infrastructure facilities. One day after he was declared dead, people have warmed themselves to take over the position he was occupying in government, claiming it is required by the law. Yes of course, the law might require so but how will the relatives and friends of the dead feel when they see people contesting to take the position of their deceased, more over in a situation where the body is still not yet buried! The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development has delivered Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the 4200 beneficiaries in Arua city. Urban Cash for Work Programme is a 300,000 dollar Pilot Project designed by MGLSD financed by International Labour Organisation (ILO) only in the Central Division Arua City to support the urban vulnerable in this period of Covid-19 pandemic. At the time of initiation of the project, Central Division Arua City had 50 cells although it has 52 cells (villages) now.  Each cell has a Project Management Committee and an account in Post Bank Arua City branch and government has already deposited 17,556,000= to implement the programme. There are 84 beneficiaries per cell and each will get 156,000 for 24 days after participating in community work in the cell. Out of the 17,556,000=, 4,452,000= will be used by each committee to procure tools, equipment for the community works. The balance will be paid to the beneificiaries. Government has delivered PPEs

URN A local businessman in Pader district has confiscated a  government motorcycle from the Ogom Sub county LC III Chairperson, Bosco Amone over a debt. David Okot confiscated a Yamaha motorcycle registration number LG 0046-098 on Tuesday claiming that Amone owes him Shillings 135,000 after picking merchandise from his shop on credit. Okot has since locked the motorcycle inside his house, saying that he will only release it after receiving full payment from the LC III Chairperson. According to Okot, he has persistently implored the LCIII Chairperson to clear his bill since he is also servicing a loan in vain. He says that the chairperson resorted to threats instead of clearing the bill. Russian cybersecurity firm Kaspersky on Tuesday responded to an advisory released by Germany's Federal Office of Information Security (BSI) against using the company's security solutions in the country over "doubts about the reliability of the manufacturer." Calling that the decision was made on "political grounds," the company said it will "continue to assure our partners and customers of the quality and integrity of our products, and we will be working with the BSI for clarification on its decision and for the means to address its and other regulators' concerns." The statement from Kaspersky follows a warning from Germany's cybersecurity authority, the Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik aka BSI, which recommended "replacing applications from Kaspersky's portfolio of antivirus software with alternative products" due to risks that they could be exploited by Russia for a cyber attack.
