Former Ayivu County MP Atiku Benard Announces Withdrawal from Controversies Surrounding Degazettement of Barifa Forest for Ecotourism.
Good morning dear friends? I am sure most of you are aware about the current discussions about Ayivu, Barifa Central Forest Reserve and Tribalism accusations in which my name has been dragged maliciously to damage my reputation and personality. No body knows what I have endured since 2014 when we started the journey of Arua City until today. I have thought of many options to defend myself from some of the attacks but have come to conclude I will not win the battle as a person and therefore need to surrender all to God Almighty. From today onwards please count me out of the politics of Ayivu and Arua City. Whatever I did in the past wrong or right I stand responsible but anything from today onwards please have me excused! God bless you all.
Arua City politics needs to grow better NOT bitter. There seems to some sections of people bent on derailing city growth. Arua is no longer the Municipality we knew, it's a City. We should avoid politics of chasing away investors, let's look at a developed City instead. And development needs all to participate be it locals or non locals.
ReplyDeleteLet's understand and agree that we can not always do it alone but we need someone to help us do it. Give an opportunity for an investor, you will see the changes you wished for but you chase away an investor, you will envy the developments you hoped for from others.
