THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF VURRA CONSTITUENCY MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT HON AJEDRA GABRIEL ARIDRU, FROM 2016 TO 2021. #PHASE_ONE.

Hon Aridru Gabriel is also the State Minister for Finance.

He has influenced a number of tax related policies for the entire country not specifically West Nile. 

a) After the people of Vurra requesting for a District since 2006, it's only Hon Aridru who delivered it.

b) He has donated Iron sheets, cement  and iron bars to almost 90% of all churches and mosques in Vurra Constituency. 

c) He budgeted funds of UGX 1.2billion for construction of Kawuanjeti Health Center III in Ajono Parish.
Community started this project in 1984, and ALL past MPs promised but never delivered. Construction is ongoing. 

d) He lobbied NWSC for the extension of water from Pokea to Ajono parish and to the Health Center III above.

e) He also lobbied NWSC to construct Mini water supply project at Ovision for the surrounding areas, esp. Ovision Health Center III 

f) He lobbied NWSC to extend water from Ocoko / Dubai to Ajia Sub-County Headquarters, especially for the Health Center III in Ajia.

g) He again lobbied NWSC to extend piped water supply to Bondo Trading Center, specifically for Bondo Health Center III there. 

h) He has so far repaired over 100 boreholes in entire Vurra and constructed over 30 protected spring wells in entire.

i) He effectively lobbied for rural electrification in Vurra, after being left out, project is ongoing. 

j) Hon Aridru effectively lobbied project for the construction of three bridges on rivers Olemika in Logiri, Alaa and another in Ajia Sub-County.
The projects are already ongoing.

k) Jusr recently hon Aridru secured Shs 100 million from Uganda Road Fund for the rehabilitation of roads in Vurra, and the projects are also ongoing. 

L) He donated iron sheets for Logiri Health Center III, for Logiri Girls Secondary School, for staff houses  and the list is endless. 

M) As ways of improving performance of Pupils / Students in Vurra Constituency, he supports them by delivering Past UNEB Question Papers and Answer sheets.


N) Every year he donates Mattresses, Scholastic Materials, personal effects and Pocket Monies for PLE Pupils who pass in First Grade.

UGANDA ELECTORAL COMMISSION TO ELIMINATE NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARDS (IDs) FOR 2021 GENERAL ELECTIONS.

The elimination of using National IDs (Ndagamuntu) for the 2021 elections should not have come as a surprise. One would be very NAIVE to think that Bobi Wine has not prepared for this in his Business Plan under the RISK section. It is public knowledge that our EC is not independent.  It is also public knowledge that Military Dictator Yoweri Museveni will never lose an election. What stunned us this morning is when we noticed that on social media, people were mocking Bobi with his "get your Ndagamuntu".  We are on record for saying to all Our readers that the National ID is like Apartheid in South Africa. Students of History would know how those IDs were being used to arrest people, deny them jobs, deny them basic services. Consequently, Bobi was not wrong and will never be wrong on the Ndagamuntu.
