2021 GENERAL ELECTIONS. Justice And Constitutional Affairs Minister Otafire has Said, Uganda Army Will Crush People Power Supporters.

                 COMMENTARY.
At First, it Were Kasule Lumumba, General Moses Ali, the Recent been Muhoozi and other Powerful NRM Cadres And Army Generals have All Vowed To Crush People Power Supporters Come 2021 General Elections.
But Surely Ugandans, Many of You are Gonna get Crushed and Die with Our Words.
Never Underestimate the Efforts of Gunmen who took power by Guns.
They are  Committed to their Oath.
There are other Alternatives which We can use to Peacefully acquire Transition of New Government but Unfortunately, Many Ugandans may not Love it because there was a Time in August 2017 When i tried to emanet the other Alternative for Change of Government, Sadly Enough, Many Ugandans Abused and attacked me for Plotting a Retirement Leniency For Mr Museveni who may Probably not face the Wrath of Ugandans after He made Many People Suffer, others Tortured and others Killed.
Since then, i have maintened a Moderate Stance in Our Entire Uganda Opposition.

Thanks.

I shall write a lot more later on.

Yours Osuta Yusuf.

Minister Kahinda Otafiire
The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Maj. Gen. Kahinda Otafiire, has said the army is ready to smash members of the People Power movement who are leading youth into violence.

While receiving several defectors of FDC into NRM party in Kashenshero Town Council, Mitooma District, on Sunday, Otafiire some individuals are disorganizing the country under the guise of People Power.

“I have heard all this noise about People Power, which power do you represent, where are these people?” wondered Otafiire.

“The one we know is the LC 1 Chairperson. People Power is exercised by LCI chairpersons through the ballot box and we will guard this power using the army and air force,” he added.

“Whoever tries to disrupt this power, you are welcome but what will come next don’t regret,” the former NRA war combatant threatened.

Although the minister did not mention names, People Power is a political pressure group led by Kyadondo East MP Mr Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine.

The singer-turned artiste has since mobilised the urban poor as a base for his quest for the highest office in the land.

Bobi says he will contest for president in the 2021 elections, directly challenging President Museveni’s hold onto power.

The politician’s rallies and music concerts have been blocked by security services, citing security concerns.

Gen Otafiire urged the youth to use peaceful means if they want to cause regime change.

“We started opposing bad governance when we were youth but we were not violent. Yes, you can attempt to remove government through violence. I don’t say it’s not possible but know it’s not easy and be prepared for the consequences,” he further cautioned.

The residents of Mitooma urged Gen. Otafiire to stand in 2021 Ruhinda parliamentary election.

In the 2016 election, Capt (Rtd) Donozio Kahonda defeated Gen Otafiire in MP race. Capt Kahonda polled 26,029 votes (56.9 per cent) while Gen Otafiire got 17,269 votes (37.7 per cent).

UGANDA ELECTORAL COMMISSION TO ELIMINATE NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARDS (IDs) FOR 2021 GENERAL ELECTIONS.

The elimination of using National IDs (Ndagamuntu) for the 2021 elections should not have come as a surprise. One would be very NAIVE to think that Bobi Wine has not prepared for this in his Business Plan under the RISK section. It is public knowledge that our EC is not independent.  It is also public knowledge that Military Dictator Yoweri Museveni will never lose an election. What stunned us this morning is when we noticed that on social media, people were mocking Bobi with his "get your Ndagamuntu".  We are on record for saying to all Our readers that the National ID is like Apartheid in South Africa. Students of History would know how those IDs were being used to arrest people, deny them jobs, deny them basic services. Consequently, Bobi was not wrong and will never be wrong on the Ndagamuntu. Except the ones attacking him and mocking him forget that in Uganda, now, no National ID (Ndagamuntu), no service.  If you have not been denied registering your child i...

Parliament Urges Government to Provide Shs 4 Billion to Media Houses to Run Awareness Campaign on Tourism in Uganda.

Parliament also urged Gov’t to provide additional Shs4Bn to UTB to engage international and national media houses in production of positive media stories for improved destination image, following reports of drop in number of tourists from US, Europe and China visiting Uganda. "The National Development Plan targeted to cumulatively attract 281,760 International Tourist arrivals from US, Europe & China but only 67,252 arrivals were registered by the end of the first half of FY 2023/24. The U.S, Europe & China were key target source for leisure tourist who stay longer than business tourists. However, statistics show that international arrivals from the aforementioned areas have continue to drop. The UTB requires Shs4Bn to engage international & national media houses in production of positive tourism stories to improve destination perception in light of recent controversies that shade the destination in a bad light. However, this has remained unfunded,” said La...
