Politicians, Technocrats Monitor State of Bridges and Roads in Terego West Constituency.

Political and technical leaders in Terego district are concerned over the state of roads in the district, one of which they monitored in Leju town council in order to assess the situations. During the monitoring tour in Terego West Constituency, LC3 Chairperson for Leju town council Hon Nyakuci John Bosco decried the appalling state of Nyara bridge connecting Bileafe, Leju & Oriama Sub-county, which he attributed it to sand mining that resulted into diversion of water flow henceforth causing breakage of the bridge. He said, poor state of that road and bridge has cut off  many people in those areas from accessing basic services like schools, health centres and markets. District secretary for works Hon Enzama James Nadua thanked Hon Leku Joel for dedicating his time to do an oversight on state of roads and bridges in Terego West Constituency. He blamed the contractor of that bridge for shoddy work, and acknowledged that, the district is doing very bad in terms of roads and bridges Terego west constituency MP Hon Joel Leku spoke on the need of fixing culverts, as one of his agendas on table because lack of culverts, bridges has been one of the main problems in the constituency he leads. #iip_updates  #Information_is_Power  #we_inform_the_uninformed
