We Are Introducing to You “WEST NILE YOUTH REGEN” Organisation. What it is all about and what it intends to offer.

West Nile transformation greatly depends on a healthy empowered youth population.
The region is currently faced with challenges such as high school dropouts, high dependency levels, unemployment, teenage pregnancies, lack of youth friendly health services and skills' gap. We shall though our works put emphasis on Gender based violence and gender inclusion

These among others directly or indirectly undermine the productivity of the youth who should be at the forefront of transforming the region.

Across the region there is a great need to consolidate the democratic gains as given to us by the government and encourage further progress. An engaged citizenry and a robust civil society are essential for both purposes. In sum, the convergence of demographic, economic and political trends in the region makes investment in youth mobilization—and youth civic engagement in particular—a logical choice for us.

Leaving the youth of West Nile in their current state of hopelessness could result in significant opportunity costs in terms of the political violence and social instability, fueled by pervasive poverty, illiteracy and inequality. Instead, civic engagement opportunities will empower and provide them with a sense of responsibility and possibility that is a prerequisite for their becoming active participants in their own development, as well as that of their societies.

Mobilization through Civic engagement will help cultivate the human and social capital of young people in both political ‘non-political’ forms and it will help change the West Nile political trends of recent years to be in our favour.

Civic engagement will educate young people about their rights and responsibilities as citizens and channel their energy into positive avenues within our political frameworks.

By enabling young people to participate in the public sphere, civic engagement will foster a political culture of tolerance and social engagement, producing young people with informed and responsible notions of citizenship that will last for their lives and that of their generation.

There is a great and effective work to be done for West Nile youth generation to make them feel empowered and train them to play an important role in changing their society for the better under your stewardship.

How shall we do this?

The initiative  is designed in way that it provides gender awareness, leadership, and advocacy  directly benefiting youths.

We shall start the regional initiative with an “asset mapping” exercise. Here a process of inquiry that provides an overview of existing conditions, highlighting strengths and revealing gaps will be conducted to help us better package our selves for mobilization, Advocacy and Re assurance. This will be a unique exercise for every structural cluster.

The project will adapt a cultural sensitive strategy, where all the activities will be planned and conducted in a way that the negative impacts will be avoided. Youths will be the target and they will be reached during the course of this project. Based on my observations, our society is now ready to accept that youths are an important part of the society. The project will take advantage of this new emerging feeling of the society and build upon the concept that this is the time where West Nile youths must play a great contribution to bring prosperity to the their region getting the facts right and detesting from being used my mushrooming political "clubs" that have no factual and feasible manifesto but rather boast of preaching a hate gospel amongst the youths for their own selfish interests.

UGANDA ELECTORAL COMMISSION TO ELIMINATE NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARDS (IDs) FOR 2021 GENERAL ELECTIONS.

The elimination of using National IDs (Ndagamuntu) for the 2021 elections should not have come as a surprise. One would be very NAIVE to think that Bobi Wine has not prepared for this in his Business Plan under the RISK section. It is public knowledge that our EC is not independent.  It is also public knowledge that Military Dictator Yoweri Museveni will never lose an election. What stunned us this morning is when we noticed that on social media, people were mocking Bobi with his "get your Ndagamuntu".  We are on record for saying to all Our readers that the National ID is like Apartheid in South Africa. Students of History would know how those IDs were being used to arrest people, deny them jobs, deny them basic services. Consequently, Bobi was not wrong and will never be wrong on the Ndagamuntu. Except the ones attacking him and mocking him forget that in Uganda, now, no National ID (Ndagamuntu), no service.  If you have not been denied registering your child i...

Here is Why Our Utterances For Praying Jesus And God To Come Liberate Ugandans, May Be Misplaced. This Phrase is like inform of a Letter To Some Categorized Section Of Ugandans.

Last week of March, a friend told me to pray for Uganda.  I told him that he was an Idiot and we have prayed for too long and we are still hungry and sick and Jesus is not coming soon to liberate us. He then ignored the STUPID and sent me a picture we all now know.  It got me totally messed up.  This guy was telling me to pray then sends a picture of men bowing down in blood.  He might have meant guns but I blocked him because his utterances of praying for Uganda were misplaced. I unblocked him 3 weeks later and asked him about praying and assassinations.  His reply "eithrr prayers or guns or both". I hate violence with a passion.  So he is now blocked in like FOREVER. Do you feel safe?  Do not feel safe. Uganda regim...
