Striking Students of Kijomoro Secondary School in Maracha District Last Night Burnt the Food Store Over School Administrator’s Denial to Organize Disco.

The Students of Kijomoro s.s in Maracha District have reportedly burnt the food store after the students asked to dance but were denied following the inauguration of the new prefects. The Head teacher argued that the students can't mingle In a dance due to the dangers of spreading covid-19.

36 Traffic Officers Equipped with Road Policing Leadership Skills.

A total of 36 traffic police officers, drawn from the Kampala Metropolitan Area, have been equipped with road policing leadership skills during a one-day workshop at Golf Course Hotel. The workshop was organized by the Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety in patternership with KCCA, and Global Road Safety, an International Organ dedicated to the sustainable reduction of road-crash death and injuries. During the one-day workshop held on February 23, 2022, the officers were equipped with leadership skills, how to manage traffic incidents, road crashes, how to investigate road crashes and speed enforcement, among many other road safety skills. REACHING A COMPROMISE.

While in the police cell awaiting his day in court for his cyber harassment charges, Kapeere hears another cell mate talk about a quicker way to solve his legal issues.  Kapeere is told this ‘friend’ went to court and accepted his wrong and was given a lighter sentence. Kapeere remembers the police officer telling him that he could be facing up to 3 years imprisonment. Kapeere survived being sent to prison for fighting in public and instead, the court ordered him to do some work in the community. As Kapeere was leaving, he was grabbed by a police officer who handcuffed him again telling him that there was still another case of cyber harassment against him that was reported by his ex girlfriend Nakimuli.
