VOTE MR EJIKU ROBERT (INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE) FOR ARUA MUNICIPALITY MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT ASPIRANT. Thursday 2 August 2018. Frankly speaking, here are my reminding notes to the Our haters and Our Opponents. They thought, we were Jokers! They thought, we can not manage the race! They degraded us! They began humiliating us! When, we showed interest that, we are gonna be in the race, they began abusing and insulting us! They thought, we were gonna be Cajoling people! They said, we don't have followers and supporters because we were not in this of Activism!. Literally, do they knew that, we have been in Activism a long ago, only that, we don't go yapping cheaply dirty politics on the streets and on traditional medias (TVs and Radios) because we are People of Integrity, Truth, Dignity, Justice and Honesty. We are smart! And we use smart Social Media and the Internet for Our Activism. They began calling us with all shorts of names!. But, One must not underestimate Our Thoroughness and Dedication with haste. We looked demeaning to them, at the beginning of the race! They said, we don't have the expertise! By the way, when did someone born in specific work and died in it?. They said, we are gonna waste our time and resources in fruitless Campaigns! They said, we were never capable of being a leader! They may spit fire on us, they may spit saliva on us, they may spit trash on us! They may use their breath and force, to hang us between death and life! But, One thing they will not kill is the Trust, Love and Support the majority Population has now entrusted us with it. They poured all shorts of curse on us!. Did they know, Leadership is a gift from our most high Almighty God. The elimination of using National IDs (Ndagamuntu) for the 2021 elections should not have come as a surprise. Last week of March, a friend told me to pray for Uganda.  I told him that he was an Idiot and we have prayed for too long and we are still hungry and sick and Jesus is not coming soon to liberate us. Parliament Urges Government to Provide Shs 4 Billion to Media Houses to Run Awareness Campaign on Tourism in Uganda.

Parliament also urged Gov’t to provide additional Shs4Bn to UTB to engage international and national media houses in production of positive media stories for improved destination image, following reports of drop in number of tourists from US, Europe and China visiting Uganda. "The National Development Plan targeted to cumulatively attract 281,760 International Tourist arrivals from US, Europe & China but only 67,252 arrivals were registered by the end of the first half of FY 2023/24. The U.S, Europe & China were key target source for leisure tourist who stay longer than business tourists. However, statistics show that international arrivals from the aforementioned areas have continue to drop.
