INFORMATION IS POWER.

HERE ARE MY REMARKS ON THE CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS. At first i would like to apologize to every Ugandan who has been missing me and my articles. It is true, i disappeared at a moment in which, Ugandans and my people most needed me to be live & active in the struggle. Am sorry! I traveled abroad for other duties worth for my future and the betterment of our country. While i was out of the country, i read a link on #New_Vision website, titled "Maracha MPs arrested for inciting violence". If i was to be in Uganda that time, i would have been arrested too with Hon Denis Lee & Hon Acidri James. Well... The regime of tyrants appointed #Alex_Onzima as the ''Third state minister in the office of vice President'' , after he lost his MP seat to Hon #Oguzu_Denis in 2016 general elections. He was later given a ministerial post. On November 13 this year, racist museveni sent Alex Onzima to #Maracha, in a bid to woo support for his #Life_Presidency tenure and the #Land_Law. This came after we finished sensitising our people on 4 to 7 November, about these 2 critical issues. However, poor minister Alex Onzima's consultation was faced by full of resistance from the youth in Maracha. They engaged in battle until he called police to come for his rescue. Our youth in Maracha have tasted enough of museveni - Alex Onzima lies. They read and take what we tell them on internet! I congratulate our youth in Maracha for that. Coming to this pig Onzima, he is always been used by dictator m7 to accomplish his selfish interests since 2001 to date. Our people have suffered enough, we will not allow much of the past to happen again. My people are lucky to have me and i am much glad to be son of this soil. Too many of my people from westnile were arrested, tortured, murdered in the past by this very museveni. It is clear that, NRM is nothing, but a criminal construction to serve the interests of museveni, his relatives and cronies. You may go ahead to hunt and kill me or my fellow freedom fighters but you will not go ahead to kill people's thirst for liberation. There is a proverb that says "THE TREE OF FREEDOM MUST BE WATERED BY THE BLOOD OF TYRANTS AND MATTERS". Museveni's continued incarceration of our leaders, shows how much discriminatory he is to us. He is been disrespectful to us. Starvation is alarming. Our elders in Westnile are dying and God only knows where is Social Grand Fund. The youth in westnile eye for Sugar cane cutting work or Security guard job, as a source of opportunity. Our blood brothers Mr #Toko, Mr #Ayume and so many other prominent people from westnile were murdered for standing for the truth. They were Pro-people! And may their souls be glorified and Rest In Peace. TO MR MUSEVENI. Should any of our leaders from westnile die under unclear circumstances again, you will taste bitter ness of the people. PROUD #LUGBARA OSUTA YUSUF A CAREER POLITICIAN / LAWYER.

UGANDA ELECTORAL COMMISSION TO ELIMINATE NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARDS (IDs) FOR 2021 GENERAL ELECTIONS.

The elimination of using National IDs (Ndagamuntu) for the 2021 elections should not have come as a surprise. One would be very NAIVE to think that Bobi Wine has not prepared for this in his Business Plan under the RISK section. It is public knowledge that our EC is not independent.  It is also public knowledge that Military Dictator Yoweri Museveni will never lose an election. What stunned us this morning is when we noticed that on social media, people were mocking Bobi with his "get your Ndagamuntu".  We are on record for saying to all Our readers that the National ID is like Apartheid in South Africa. Students of History would know how those IDs were being used to arrest people, deny them jobs, deny them basic services. Consequently, Bobi was not wrong and will never be wrong on the Ndagamuntu. Except the ones attacking him and mocking him forget that in Uganda, now, no National ID (Ndagamuntu), no service.  If you have not been denied registering your child i...

Parliament Urges Government to Provide Shs 4 Billion to Media Houses to Run Awareness Campaign on Tourism in Uganda.

Parliament also urged Gov’t to provide additional Shs4Bn to UTB to engage international and national media houses in production of positive media stories for improved destination image, following reports of drop in number of tourists from US, Europe and China visiting Uganda. "The National Development Plan targeted to cumulatively attract 281,760 International Tourist arrivals from US, Europe & China but only 67,252 arrivals were registered by the end of the first half of FY 2023/24. The U.S, Europe & China were key target source for leisure tourist who stay longer than business tourists. However, statistics show that international arrivals from the aforementioned areas have continue to drop. The UTB requires Shs4Bn to engage international & national media houses in production of positive tourism stories to improve destination perception in light of recent controversies that shade the destination in a bad light. However, this has remained unfunded,” said La...
