Two New Bluetooth Flaws Expose Millions of Devices to Remote Attacks.

Automated Publishing Via Osuta Yusuf Applets. Security researchers have unveiled details of two critical vulnerabilities in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) chips embedded in millions of access points and networking devices used by enterprises around the world. Dubbed  BleedingBit , the set of two vulnerabilities could allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code and take full control of vulnerable devices without authentication, including medical devices such as insulin pumps and pacemakers, as well as point-of-sales and IoT devices. Discovered by researchers at Israeli security firm Armis, the vulnerabilities exist in  Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Stack chips  made by Texas Instruments (TI) that are being used by Cisco, Meraki, and Aruba in their enterprise line of products. Egyptian Christians bury victims of latest militant attack.

Automated Publishing Via Osuta Yusuf Applets. Thousands of Christian mourners in Egypt on Saturday witnessed the burial of six members of the same family who were killed while returning from a baptism at a Coptic monastery in Egypt’s Minya province. Crowds spilled over from the pews screaming, sobbing and praying over six white coffins and refusing an offer of condolences from security officials. Priest of Mar Girgis, Rad Noser Mitri said they play no role in terrorism or hate but only a role in serving their church and country like any other people all around the world. We would like to tell them (the attackers) that we still love them despite what happened. “We would like to tell them (the attackers) that we still love them despite what happened. We have a question though, Why are you doing this to us? We do not commit malice towards anyone. We serve our church and nation in complete honesty,” he added. Joshua Adam Schulte , a 30-year-old former CIA computer programmer who was indicted over four months ago for masterminding the largest leak of classified information in the agency's history, has now been issued three new charges. The news comes just hours after Schulte wrote a letter to the federal judge presiding over his case, accusing officials at Manhattan Metropolitan Correctional Center of interfering with his case pleading and subjecting him to "cruel and unusual punishment" in pre-trial detention. "The shit-filled showers where you leave dirtier than when you entered; the flooding of the tiers and cages with ice-cold water; the constant blast of cold air as we are exposed to extreme cold without blankets or long-sleeve shirts; the uncontrollable lights that are always on as we are sleep deprived...No human being should ever have to experience thi...

Kayihura Charges to be Dropped.

As Weekend mood is activated for all of you, here Comes the Brain Storming glad. Earlier on we alerted everyone not to jubilate the sucking, arrests and trials of former Inspector General of Uganda Police Kale Kayihura. Our missives went to depth. The day Kayihura was incarcerated beyond the Constitutional Rights and later on Kayihura himself made comments that, he is not on hurry to leave Jail, showed a clear sign of invisible Phishing going on. We are on record for telling Ugandans that, the NRM #Alnakba is perfect in Confuse, Divide and Rule and any traumas facing the NRM Cadres and Loyalties should not be jubilated. And indeed, Kayihura's dilemma was a ploy to dilute and divert public attention. When we wrote about "Any Court Trial against the close associates, relatives, comrades and Cadres of Museveni won't succeed" People thought we and many people rebranded us as fools. I am glad that, we have run down on History.

The tents and belongings of nearly one thousand migrants were destroyed by a fire in Casablanca late on Saturday, October 27. This is the third fire outbreak at the camp since July 2017 and it is unclear how it started. On Monday, October 29, James from Sierra Leone and his camp neighbors began clearing debris, sawing and nailing wooden frames as they started to rebuild the area which last week housed 300 plastic tents. Those who don't understand cannot judge, those who judge cannot understand because of the way we are living, at times we are in the streets begging, so people see that. We don't want to beg ‘‘Well, this is the place we live in, truly it’s not easy for us, but we are just fighting for our home, our place and prosperity. And to the power of God, G...

Apple`s New MacBook Disconnects Microphone `Physically` When Lid is Closed.

Automated Publishing Via Osuta Yusuf Robot Trigger. Apple introduces a new privacy feature for all new MacBooks that "at some extent" will prevent hackers and malicious applications from eavesdropping on your conversations. Though the new T2 chip is already present in the 2018 MacBook Pro models launched earlier this year, this new feature got unveiled when Apple launched the new Retina MacBook Air and published a full security guide for T2 Chip yesterday. "This disconnect is implemented in hardware alone, and therefore prevents any software, even with root or kernel privileges in macOS, and even the software on the T2 chip, from engaging the microphone when the lid is closed," Apple ex...

Another Milestone Achieved: Run Linux Apps on a Chromebook.

Automated Publishing Via Osuta Yusuf Robot Trigger. Linux apps now can run in a Chromebook's Chrome OS environment. However, the process can be tricky, and it depends on your hardware's design and Google's whims. It is somewhat similar to running Android apps on your Chromebook, but the Linux connection is far less forgiving. If it works in your Chromebook's flavor, though, the computer becomes much more useful with more flexible options. Still, running Linux apps on a Chromebook will not replace the Chrome OS. The apps run in an isolated virtual machine without a Linux desktop. If you are not familiar with any Linux distribution, your only learning curve involves getting familiar with a new set of computing tools. That experience can pique interest in a full Linux setup on a non-Chromebook device. Why tool around with adding Linux apps to the Chromebook world? One reason is that now you can. That response may only suit Linux geeks and software devs looking to consolid...

The last time I saw this happen was in the 1970s, when the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission took off. Suddenly a lot of the off-color, sexist and racist jokes that many executives regularly told could get them fired. A surprisingly large number of people got reassigned, fired, demoted, or otherwise punished for the same behavior that previously had made them "one of the guys." With the current #MeToo movement, any hint of wrongdoing -- not only recent but going back to your youth -- can have dire consequences on job prospects, image, and (depending on what you did) freedom.
